Me- no. Shaw doesn’t look over his shoulder for a second to see the attacker is behind him and he doesn’t put the gas on until too late. Could have easily closed down the attacker seconds before the cross came in.

Easier said that done when the ball is moving. What you are suggesting is a set piece where the attacker is stationary to start with. If that is bad defending then every goal in every game is bad defending.
