    Lingard won 3 tackles that half. Thats usually his season total. Thats about the only thing of note from the first half. Maybe because he's up for the game he'll get a goal in the 2nd half
     
    Well, that was rubbish. Again. Palace closer to scoring than we were. Hopefully we'll do our second half trick again, but seriously, there's something wrong with this team.
     
    That was dire. We are such a nothing team. 3rd year and this is the shit Mourinho serves up.
     
    This club just isn't going to return to glory when it's full backs are matteo darmian and ashley young. it's embarrassingly bad.
     
    Mourinho is persisting on fecking up the team selection by his favorites. Absolute BS.

    Matic should be nowhere near starting lineup, more so while playing with 2 in midfield. His immobility is exposing loads of space that are getting covered by Palace players. Herrera or Fred will cover more distance.

    And there's absolutely no reason in restarting Lukaku out of nowhere after his trash performance since start of season. Should have been kept on the bench.

    The formation could have looked x10 better with Herrera and Sanchez, but they're not as favorites as Matic and Lukaku.

    So weird to see just awfully clear decisions not being taken.

    Special mention to Big Rom who barely resembled a professional athlete in the first half. Still, he did a good interview in the week.

    Started decent first 10-15 mins, with some intent which isn't like us in recent years. But on the counter with the speed they've got, we're carved open with one midfielder in the lineup.

    The only half decent performance in the first half is Lingard's. I don't think Lukaku has been bad at all, but our fluidity and unpredictability goes out the window when he's leading the line. Such an expensive mistake really.

    Most top players, when in a goal scoring or form slump, you can see how they add something to the team or show glimpses of how they will get back into form. But this fraud? Can’t see it. Awful. Get him off.
     
    What is Jose even trying to achieve? What does he visualise when he puts those 11 players out there and gives them their instructions? What is 'end game' for him?

    Fellaini will be on soon and we'll be launching hoofballs to him for 30mins.

    United fans booing at the end of the half, clearly unhappy with yet another lacklustre performance from the team.
     
    I thought we did ok going forward, showed more attacking intent than we usually do when the game is at 0-0. The final pass was not quite there.

    Having said that, it is worrying seeing a horrible team like Palace cut through us with such ease.
     
    Very mature performance by us, we were in full control in 1st half. Lukaku looking good, leading a line despite being aware of criticism but he is grown ass man and dealt with it perfectly.
     
    Got 'em in at 0-0, good stuff! We'll win this in the second half but I'd love to know what we do on the training pitch as there is zero evidence of any attacking patterns or combinations in our forward play, it all looks off the cuff.
     
    I really don't enjoy watching us play anymore. I give half a feck about less than a handful of our players.

    Not blaming it all on Mourinho, it's the cumulative effect of years of tumescent shite.
     
    He has got to go simply because he is blind. Sandra Redknapp can do what Matic is doing in the game. Jose is so blind that anyone can do a better job than Matic right now. Carrick out of retirement will still be better.

    The immobility of Matic in midfield means Pogba can't attack freely, so we're even dragged farther back and struggling to move forward.

    Awful, awful decision. I don't know what Matic needs to do before he got dropped.

    Lingard with excellent movement and running everywhere, but ultimately doing nothing with any of it.
    Matic letting people run off him like hes not there.
    Lukaku we'd be better off if he wasnt there.

    Only surprise is Darmian having a decent game, but we know he can defend. It's going forward that he struggles with
     
    The first five or so minutes of the game looked promising, but since then Palace have gotten right into it and likely could count themselves a little unlucky not to be leading.

    Really wish we would play with some intensity going forward. Watching Palaces rapid attacks and intent, makes it even worse

    His only moment of note was a bit of good holdup play for Lingard only to get cynically tackled to ruin a break.
