Chelsea Football Club (also known as The Blues and The Pensioners) are a professional football club based in Fulham, London. Chelsea were founded on 10 March 1905 at The Rising Sun pub (now The Butcher's Hook) after Gus Mears had previously acquired the Stamford Bridge athletics stadium with the aim of turning it into a football ground. Since there was already a team named Fulham in the borough, the name of the adjacent borough, the Metropolitan Borough of Chelsea, was settled on.

Chelsea's first major title success came in the form of the League Cup with the appointment of former Arsenal player, Ted Drake, who also led Chelsea to the their first ever League title, enabling them to compete in the European Cup, but after objections from The Football League and the FA, Chelsea were persuaded to withdraw from the competition before it started - allowing Matt Busby's Manchester United to start their illustrious adventure with the competition.

After decades of being non-competitors, Chelsea returned to the domestic title fore in 2003 under new owner Roman Abramovich, who fueled an unprecedented spending spree - starting in the mid 2000s. Since the takeover, Chelsea have won 1 Champions League title, 6 Premier League titles, 8 FA Cup titles, 2 Europa League titles, and 5 League Cup titles, among others. Chelsea's most prominent rivalries include local clubs Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur, title rivals Manchester United, Liverpool and Leeds United. Chelsea play their home games at Stamford Bridge - which had been their home for over a century.

    Easy decision for OGS
    DDG
    Tuanzebe Lindelof Shaw
    AWB Fred McTominay Telles
    Bruno
    Greenwood Rashford

    Team should be...

    -----------------De Gea-----------------
    AWB--Lindelof--Maguire--Shaw
    ---McTominay---Fred---
    Mata------Fernandes------Pogba
    ----------------Rashford----------------

Subs: Henderson, Tuanzebe, Telles, Matic, VDB, James, Cavani

As much as I want Tuanzebe in again if Maguire is back then take him out and recover. We rushed Bailly into the team after one good performance and we shipped 6, introduce Tuanzebe gradually. Obviously if Maguire is out then he has to play

    De Gea
    Axel - Lindelof - Shaw
    AWB - Fred - McTominay - Telles
    Pogba - Bruno
    Rashford

This is a must win game as we need to keep the momentum going. After the Spurs game I was dreading the PSG Chelsea Arsenal 3, but now feel confident we can beat Chelsea and maybe Arsenal although they have improved as well. I think 3-1 Utd.

Would be hard pressed to change that team (of course no Martial), but rotation needed with the next few games all being tough. Hoping for a VDB start, but maybe he'll start next weeks CL game vs Leipzig and rest Bruno then.

    De Gea
    Tuanzebe Lindelof Shaw
    Wan Bissaka Matic Pogba Telles
    Bruno
    Rashford Greenwood

Hard to say exactly. Pogba will likely start though its hard to drop Fred after that. Maguire likely to come back in, but same thing for lindelof and tuanzebe.

This is a really big game for perception in the league. A dominant performance would do absolute wonders for us.

They can't defend either so this should have plenty of goals in it.

We are a better team then Chelsea so hopefully we show that on Saturday again

I'm worried we'll see Paris Heroes turn into Manchester Zeroes. We've had too many false dawns. I'd go for the same line-up but with Greenwood instead of Martial.

Mata has also earned a place based on last week but him being featured would depend on the formation.

A fear shared by many of us I suspect

When was the last time we lost all of our opening 3 league games a home though? Got to be going back to before my time for that unwanted stat

Let’s see if Chelsea commit 20 fouls with no bookings again.

Not sure who will end up playing but would be very disappointing if Axel, Fred, Telles and McTominay don't start.

    Bruno is a given.

We have Leipzig in a week and then Arsenal 4 days later, as much as i agree these players all deserve to start Ole will need to rotate somewhere to keep it fresh and I can't see all 4 of them starting again on Sat, I feel Telles maybe and perhaps Axel if Maguire isn't fit but fairly confident Matic will start and Mata could be involved also.

Excited for this. Their defence is there for the taking.

Should be beating these. We have improved massively over the past two games while Chelsea have had two home draws.

Rotation is key here with the games coming quick. Van de Beek, Matic and Cavani in, Bruno and Martial out.

I think he went for back 3 today given we had Tuanzebe in there after 10 months. On Saturday, he might go for a diamond. And I believe (A) we don't need to risk rushing Maguire back if Axel is available, who could do with a nice run in the team and (B) Rashford may need a little rest (bring him on late against Chelsea)
