Given the Arsenal result, and the fact that Chelsea have Leicester and Watford tonplay, and are in the Europa League.

If, we managed to win today (despite our horrendous form), we would have a bloody good chance of getting 4th.

Is Ole just literally picking random starting 11’s now? Has he seen something in training?

    I’ve no idea anymore.

Why does Solskjaer continually not start McTominay when McTominay is one of the very, very few players to have shown any sort of good form over the last month or two?

    Rashford, matic, young, and bailly.

we're losing 3-0 today. Ole is not holding players accountable for their performances

I presume Smalling is injured? Otherwise Bailly randomly getting picked makes no sense.

What a bloody terrible side. Why slow Matic in midfield? Why no Fred or Mctominay?

I think we get beaten with this side. Also Lukaku and Mata gives us a very slow attack.

If we lose this there's no excuse for Ole, we have played a constructive string of in form teams, Chelsea are hot and cold and have been throughout the season. There's not one excise and Ole will be 150% liable for a bad performance

Fred, Lingard and Smalling not even in the 18, the lumberer back in midfield and Herrera randomy thrown back in, I thought Mata might start but Lukaku? Ugh, it feels like Ole is just throwing shit at the wall and hoping something sticks with all of this constant changing. Not even having Greenwood on the bench makes no sense.

A lot of players who haven't played much....mind you can't be worse than what we've seen recently.

Assume Smalling is injured. Mata, Matic, Lukaku. This will be like watching molasses on a cold morning.

Not sure how to feel about that team. Bailly in from nowhere, no width, inclusion of Mata...I can't remember the last time we looked good when Mata started.

I think Mata can look good with some movement and pace around him. Although with this side and him being a winger not so much.
    '
Young and Bailly vs Hazard is out biggest worry and Mata is not going to help Young very much.

I look forward to being told why I'm not allowed to criticise the lineup

Herrera has not played for weeks, so it is a risk. Bailly :nervous:

Its hilarious how shit Sanchez is.. He cant even get into our starting XI

Some funny know-it-alls in this thread. Same team that played well and won at Chelsea in the cup bar DDG for Romero and Bailly for Smalling, the latter due to injuries.

Why has Mctominay been dropped after playing well? It is really strange unless he got injury problems.

Not exactly the most inspiring line up. I think people will be righky worried by Bailly in the defence as his last few appearances have been a disaster. Young/Mata combination on the right hand in side is very uninspiring too. I don't hold much hope. But I'd like to be wrong.
