Pellistri looked great and I was really impressed by his performances for Uruguay at the World Cup too. I thinkk tonight should be enough to put him above Elanga in the pecking order. Everton loan for Elnga at this stage makes more sdnse than keeping him imo, especially after Weghorst joins and his ability to fill in as a striker is no longer really an advantage.

He/she is right, and typically, forwards aren't involved much unless they are scoring. Main example being Haaland. How many times does he get involved? Not often, but he scores goals. As a striker, that's the main job.good for rashford to come on and continue scoring...has to be a nice continued boost for him
No he’s was wrong. He was comparing Rashford to Martial. Rashford had just come on the pitch. When he got going he scored two goals. Martial isn’t offering any output at the moment.
He scored two goals because he was slotted in twice. Other than that, he didn't get involved much. Actually, I'd say Martial actually does this better. This is not a criticism of Rashford but other than his goals, he wasn't involved. As I said; however, as long as he scores goals, then it doesn't bother me. Goals over involvement any day.
Can you include the bit just before that, where he makes a 40 yard run and instead of releasing it out wide tries to go on a Messi-esque run and dribble the player?

Of course he wasn't but part of the reason they didn't score was MaguireSpeaking as “Maguire’s agent”, I thought he was decent enough against Carlton but of course didn’t face much of a challenge. And even if could have played better, you wouldn’t want to see him waste a vintage performance against a League One side. The players who needed to prove something to the manager were Garnacho, Pellistri and Elanga.
I think that is his major problem. His position. For a RW, he is really hardworking but lack genuine speed and goal threat. I think He is more suited as a NO 8. He is more comfortable finding runners than becoming the runner
