I actually defended him for a long time now, but unfortunatzely he doesnt seem to be able take his youth progress to the mens game at all.
He should take a step back, go to championship and play himself into a lower table Prem player in few years which he will end up at. He still has potential, maybe not as much as Pereira who seems to put it all together only now but he's younger and needs game time in his preffered position LAM.

Agree, but there is a bit of a step up from Maguire to Lindelof. At the end of the day, Lindelof is on about half the wages Maguire is, and is probably okay with a backup role, whereas Maguire will not. Keep Lindelof, sell Maguire. This whole captain's armband thing was a big mistake too.
