His wages are a different -- real, but different -- argument. If the objective is to maintain a low budget squad, we clearly have to get rid of Harry's 200k/week wage package and replace him with someone in the 50-100k/week bucket. That's perfectly reasonable. I'm not sure what Lindelo's wages are, but I wouldn't be surprised if it's around 100k/week and if that's the case then we stick with Lindelof and get rid of Maguire.
But if we do that let's be sure not to moan when we witness the vast dropoff in quality when Lindelof comes on instead of Maguire when Varane or Martinez are not fit to play.Hopefully Pellistri gets a runout.
