being without BT, can anyone recommend a decent streaming site please ?

    Lingard :(

We have martial and Mata on the bench and we start with a sub standard championship quality player.

My heart ruled over my head and had Mata over Mkhitaryan.

Loyalty after sulking his way through a season? Not a chance.

I get where your coming from but honestly I think it's just his way .. He doesnt wear his heart on his sleeve or talk about it to the media so it can be hard to see where his passion lies at times

However he has always been like this so you can't read too much into it .

That said I do think he is off this season but even if he wasn't I don't see why we can't trust Romero anyway .. If anything Romero had performed as well if not better than De Gea this season who has dropped a couple of clangers .

Cue Romero feckin it up now after saying that

Lingard isn't consistent enough, I mean he produces some big moments but he doesn't affect games enough. Hopefully its time for another Lingard screamer.
He scores a fluke goal a season and runs around missing chances yet some how he is a top talent.
He will do well to play for wes brom or west ham if it wasnt for our clubs academy bias.

Are people still crying over the potential inclusion of Romero? It's really quite pathetic. Romero has been fantastic all tournament, and I have no qualms over our goalkeeper whoever he is.

Exactly this! Some people really need to get over themselves! He's been practically faultless all season and they're worrying about this game at home with a goal advantage.

I'm really happy for the guy and am confident that he'll do the business tonight. He's certainly the least of our worries. They should be worrying more about Fellaini, Lingard and Mkhitaryan.

Thank you Mourinho for rewarding the best player against Arsenal with at least a place on the bench tonight, and not reverting to those two overhyped injury pussies that we have. Oh wait!

Spot on with my lineup prediction - now just need the guys to do the business on the pitch COYR...

    Lingard :(

In fairness, Mata has had one rather strenuous game since he hurried back from injury. Hardly surprising he doesn't start again today.

I guess it's continuity from the first leg, a show of faith in the players that won it.

They aren't flukes but he's essentially another Welbeck, lots of energy and tries hard but ultimately not enough end product.

Sad times when Fellaini starts in a game this big, he's shite at the best of times but I was hoping the City red card would keep him out of the team.

I get Romero playing and he's been good this season but it's no time for sentiment, De Gea is the better keeper we should play him.

Bottom line we have better players than Romero, Fellaini, Lingard and Darmian.

He creates chances as well, and works for the team. It's strange how much crap Lingard has to take compared to how little Mkhitaryan receives.

    @MrSingh2002

Those would be his stats from games against teams like St Ettiene, Zorya, Anderlecht and Rostov? Whereas De Gea's are from the full PL season he played as our first choice keeper?

If we played Romero for a full season I'm pretty sure I know how he'd compare to De Gea's "average" season.

That could be the case. I personally like the kick up the backside Mourinhos giving De Gea the same way he has done to half of our squad. Nowhere near the same situation but I'm a sunday league manager and can respect that Mourinho has the cojones to drop a big player in this situation. It's a good message to send out and I like everyone else hope Romero has a great game in a great win tonight.

There's thinking he isn't consistent enough and then there is calling him a substandard championship player...

Hope you do it, to be honest. You'll give it a better go than Celta would in the final against a very good Ajax side.

Fellaini naysayers out in full force but will be nowhere to be seen when he drops another 9/10 performance.

Fellaini beats the high press. Our defenders are not good enough to build from the back when pressed. I still don't know why many of our fans don't get Fellaini's inclusion in the team when we play teams who want to press us to death.

Ironically the City red is probably the reason he's starting tonight. He's the only midfielder that's had decent PL rest in the last few weeks.

If we get to the final Axel will get some games to the end of the season. Probably to give Valencia a rest.

Hope so, really rate the lad. Honestly think he would do a better job than those two clowns on bench. Dont want to see the club not give these young lads games and they get fed up and leave, especially when history suggests Mourinho only has 2 more years at Utd

Anyone who is surprised at Lingard starting just can't read the signs. He signed a bumper new contract, much like Fellaini, Mourinho loves him (workrate, energy & pace), and with the injury situation, it was slam dunk that Lingard starts this one. Recovering players like Mata aren't going to start this semi-final after just coming back from injury and playing a match 3 days ago.

We'll see what happens next season, but Mourinho has clearly elevated Lingard's status this year.

City red guaranteed him a place in the team because he would be well rested for each leg.
