Jeez this is bad! I don't know what I expected really. Greenwood looks like he's the only one who's bothered out there. The only one who wants to impress. Hopefully we can wake up in the second half, and end on a somewhat positive note and the final game is going out with a whimper so far. At home to already relegated Cardiff!
Nothing of the sort. The players are trying.

Also, what on earth has happened to Rashford's selfishness. Reaching Ronaldo levels of weirdness despite not actually being a top player.

    Ole's at the wheel...
    :lol::nervous:

Well it’s a lovely spring day, who can blame them?
Playing football on a day like this, fecking hell I really despise these bastards masquerading as United players(Greenwood exempted).
What a team to come into.
Ole better have the bollocks to slap in a size A4 piece of paper into Woodyheads in tray with a list of all the players he wants out and it better be a bloody big list as well!
If not then Ole will be gone by Christmas he needs to tell these bastards that they simply are not Manchester United players!!
feck that.. he should make an appointment for them with SAF. can you imagine what he'd say to this lot of feckwits

Not getting any top Red points. City is more entertaining and our game is useless. All I need from that game is to know if a flying banner will be displayed or if there's a mass wall-out early.
Are they deliberately playing so bad ?
That is the only justification for such displays ... Especially after Ole's first couple of months Incharge

At top level they have less time to think or co-ordinate their movement. That's why you can have players scoring hordes of goals in the Championship only to fail at the EPL. Now I've been noticing this flaw for quite some time with United's kids. Welbeck, Rashford and maybe Greenwood as well. They all have the making of a decent forwards (pace, technique, decent dribbling skills and workrate) but they all seem struggling in finishing skills. The last forward we produced who was also a great finisher was Paul Scholes. I don't see anything wrong in suggesting bringing in someone who can improve the youth finishing skills. What's wrong to suggest additional help for our kids?
You think the reason the fluffed those chances is because he had less time to think about him? How much time do you think you get in youth football? He's not a robot, nor is any other player, and so can be affected by nerves. You've decided after watching him for 30 minutes that it's because his finishing isn't up to scratch. You should listen to those that have seen considerably more of him than you have.

Is anyone even angry anymore? I'm at the point it's just funny
Last few years the blow was softened by the ineptitude of the teams around us. Not this season. I'm thoroughly ashamed of these players but optimistic that Ole can draw a line under it and we can move on.
10 in 10 out over the next three windows should be a serious consideration

There is something I don’t get... why do players of mid-table and bottom table teams who have nothing left to play for seem to be more interested in getting something out of games than ours (even when CL qualification was still up for grabs)? What’s the matter with the mentality of United players? Why have they looked so unconcerned for the majority of the season? Are they overpaid, is that the problem?

We've been alright so far, absolutely unlucky to be losing given the circumstances. Need an early goal.

 Are you seriously suggesting this team is capable of competing? Fecking hell...
No, but I believe they should be playing some kind of football . And Ole had enough time to imprint his style. So where is that

That's kind, we need 2 CMs regardless of Pogba leaving or staying. Matic has to be put on the bench and we need another one to reinforce, Fred and Perreira aren't gonna make it here.

I wouldn't be against that, but we need goal scorers as a priority who are able to score goals out of nothing. Like RVP/Zlatan/Rooney were able to do for us. If not in the ST position, then at least playmakers & wide men who can score regularly too.

It's a concern for me, Ole seems to love “Rashy“ to a point where he gets away with things he shouldn't be. I hope it's down to lack of choice but I think he really rates him

    Rashy needs a reality check.

    Everything points to that though.

It'll be another season wasted :(

He's everything wrong with the modern football fan. Takes 45minutes to determine he's a bad finisher.

Well, we dont actually have a defender in the subs so that's hardly surprising. Assuming Valencia is too unfit to get more than 5 minutes.

Some ridiculous reactions in here. Ole hasn't even signed a player yet. Knee-jerk responses of impotent rage because United aren't winning every match they play are not the way forward. It's pretty obvious it's been a demoralising season, and that goes back to nearly a whole year ago, the players have had nothing to play for since Barcelona, and it is individual errors and lack of quality which have been repeatedly shown up. They're not good enough and they know it. It's not about getting these players to improve, the players who have been signed are NOT. GOOD. ENOUGH. They play to potential, they're a Europa League quarter finals kinda team.

Let the man who's been appointed at least have a chance. He's there, he's signed a contract, he has credit in the bank with the club, and I for one at least feel United now have a decent person who understands the values of the club. He is quickly discovering, I imagine, that many players in that changing room do not match that description.

I believe this as it stands but come our opening game of next season and Ashley Young is starting as our captain and Lingard or Mata on our right then I might just lose my shit with Ole.

I hope Ole is not counting on Rashford to score 20+ goals next season.

We need a striker & RW, CM (2 if Pogba goes), CB & RB

We need a new team, whilst not realistic in one window it is what’s required.

I despair at the players who have been given contract extensions though, it’s going to be an interesting Summer, but we could be looking at bottom half of the table very early in the next season if things continue. Are we going to sign those 5/6 players we desperately need?

As a minimum, I don’t want to see half of the current first teamers playing as regulars next year.

There's not a manager in the world that could get a tune out of this squad. Any philosophy you want to implement falls on its arse when players can't pass, run or tackle.
