Agree with this. McTominay is actually ok playing higher up the pitch. Fred plays better higher up the pitch. Where we are missing is a proper number 6 to hold the midfield, switch play and dictate the pace.McTominay is an excellent midfielder when he has someone like Matic behind him.McTominay isn't a DM. When he has games where he can actually attack a bit more he generally always looks better.
That's a Lindelof classic to be fair, he's always backing off like that.45 year old Lennon took that goal like Torres in his prime. Really annoying we’ve given them some hope.
It's hard to call it an interception when he just gives it straight to Lennon.
His error was clearly worse here, given that Maguire blocked most of the goal but Lennon found the exact corner with the inside of the post.
Still, some people just want to blame the player they don't like rather than the one who's actually to blame.
