Lads, it's Brighton. 6-1 United.
Not sure i'd enjoy seeing Lamptey go at an unfit Telles!Telles was on the bench at the weekend
2pm it was and then later on the embargoed section as per normWhen is the presser for this game?
Thanks mate. Do we have a thread on it? Could not find one yet.2pm it was and then later on the embargoed section as per norm
Have we reached the point where it's better to drop points to avoid thursday night football? Top 4 is surely gone.
Good pointFrom 2024/25 the CL will be extended from 32 to 36 teams. Two of the extra spots will go to teams with the highest coefficients who miss out on regular qualification.
Right now we are 9th. As long as we are top 10 we will 99 % of the times be getting one of those extra spots if we fail to get top 4 in the league.
The reason we’re as high as 9th (despite being awful in the CL the past 5 seasons) is that we go deep in EL and keep the coefficients ticking along nicely.
Having a season outside of Europe would mean a blank on the coefficients. That blank would stay with us for 5 seasons. It would take us from 7th-10th to around 16th. A 16th placed team is very unlikely to get one of those extra spots.
I know people despise the EL (rightly so) but if we can’t get CL this season then we have to get EL. Because down the road those extra coefficients will ensure that we never miss out on CL when the new format starts in two years’ time.
Matic isn't available.I think it’s worth playing Bruno as a false 9, move Pogba higher and play Fred or Matic next to Scotty.
Matic, Cavani, and Fred, it seems. As a result, midfield 3 picks itself + Ronaldo probably starts. Maybe Elanga starts over Rashford but I wouldn't bet on it.Matic isn't available.
Andy Mitten reckons Fred is available again.Matic, Cavani, and Fred, it seems. As a result, midfield 3 picks itself + Ronaldo probably starts. Maybe Elanga starts over Rashford but I wouldn't bet on it.
Telles for Shaw is the most likely change.
For people who have watched Brighton - what sets Potter apart from being Brendan Rodgers at Swansea?

NO NO NO NO HELL NOI think it’s worth playing Bruno as a false 9, move Pogba higher and play Fred or Matic next to Scotty.
Or move Rashers in the middle, giving the vacant spot to Elanga or even Jesse.
I assume it's the hope that kills you/usWhy are we looking forward to another game yet again? After one big disappointment after another for the past few games and the best part of a decade, why can't tomorrow night come quickly enough for most of us, even if recent evidence suggests it's likely to end up ruining our evenings?
I'm convinced "regular" football fandom must be some sort of addiction. Manchester United ... *sigh*
Groundhog's dayImagine if Ronaldo misses a sitter but we go in 1-0 up, they equalise immediately and then it finishes 1-1.
In the terms of away form they would be. Southampton lost 6 times away this season and conceded 27 goals.Interesting take. You really think Brighton are a better team than Southampton?
You can stream itGlad this isn't on TV, watching United these days is as painful as it gets
So if this isn’t on uk tv anywhere, is it on American tv? Or will they be focusing on champions league too? Got to ensure the rivers continue to flow!
Can't wait for United to come to Holland to play VitesseI'd rather lose in that case
No.Is this on tv in the Uk?
I've heard that is more trouble than it's worth to find one that doesn't freeze or drop out etc.You can stream it
