Nice for Brighton that we’ve decided to play an attack v defence training drill. Disgusting that we’ve been played off the park at home. Can’t string more that 2 passes together. No tackling, no energy.

Look at the Brighton squad. Look at the United squad. Too many excuses being made for a manager who isn’t showing anything.
Our squad is poor. There's really not much between those two lineups tonight other than what they cost to buy.

It’s amazing that no one wants Potter as our next manager! It’s just so poor we are under Ralf. The only hope is individual brilliance or they made stupid mistake.

I'd take any of the potters at this point
Graham, Harry even fckin Brian couldn't be worse than this

I’m not saying the Brighton squad is better, but we can’t say look at the United squad as if it’s impressive. Brighton’s players have been coached better for a long time but they’re also more ‘coachable’ you have something to work with there, they put the effort in. I’d be delighted with Potter at United, but we’d need to give him time to clear out the rot.

If the players don't respond to Rangnick I am not sure Potter would stand a chance.

Truth be told, I want anything but Ronaldo in the lineup right now. He contributes exactly zero to the build-up play
he created a great chance for Sancho, our only chance this half. Bad performance from Ronaldo, but half the squad was even worse

Fernandes and his stupid unnecessary Hollywood long balls

McFred and their unsurprising and classic as per usual shit performance.

    Ronaldo and his nonexistent presence

No his job is to identify which players cant implement it so they're moved on before the next manager comes in.

No actually it isn’t. He’s a football manager. It’s his job to get the team to win football matches.

Very nervy, very poor first half. Decision making in the final third has been horrific. Two games running Sancho has had two men inside on the break and delayed until the chance has gone. Fred's use of the ball is horrendous. When he does win it high he chooses the wrong option over and over. Brighton has been the better team. On balance we can be pleased that this isn't beyond us. The same problems are showing themselves as always. We need someone who can win the ball and use it in Fred's position. We need a Carrick in McTominay's. We need better, quicker decisions when we get to their defensive third.

PS) You can see the gears turning in Shaw's head. Its painful to watch.

Look at how the front 4 of Brighton lead the press compared to the inactivity in that area from Utd.

Brian Potter would be great entertainment, which would be an improvement on the miserable crap we've been served up for the last 9 years.

DDG 7/10 - Unbelievable save but poor distribution. Kept it 0-0.
Dalot 3/10 - Remember one decent run but did nothing otherwise.
Lindelof 5/10 - No mistakes but nothing special
Maguire 3/10 - Misplaced pass and nothing special
    Shaw 3/10 - Absent
    McTominay 2/10 - Headless chicken
Fred 1/10 - Loses it time and time again, the ball seems like a time bomb with him
Elanga 5/10 - Is trying but ultimately not doing anything
Ronaldo 3/10 - Overhit passes, whinging, doing nothing
Sancho 6/10 - Is trying and making runs but not clinical enough

Absolutely piss poor across the board from every player, only Sancho maybe can be considered JUST acceptable.

We’ve done that for the last ten years really. LVG was the only one who realised that issue.

For all of the criticism that he got for his team being 'boring', at least we looked like we knew how to control the midfield in his games.

how can teams like southampton, burnley, brighton and the likes bully us this much on the pitch! We are so bad on the ball. No organisation what so ever. Move the ball and hope for the best

In the space of a month, we’ve gone from having far too many attacking options to please everybody to being woefully short of attacking options. Wonderful squad management.

Our squad is poor. There's really not much between those two lineups tonight other than what they cost to buy.
I’m sorry, but that’s bollocks. They’re 7 points behind a United side who have been well below par and had to sack a manager. The reason for that is because we have vastly superior players. We finished with more than 30 points more than them last season. You don’t do that when there’s not much between the two teams.

    Well that wasn't great.

Well.. lately we've started decently and then fallen off a cliff.

Maybe today we're switching it up and doing the latter part early, and finishing on a high?

    :smirk:
Yea, honestly getting the feeling the players have been told to take it easy first half to preserve energy to last the 90. Looks like we are almost parking the bus at times, just letting them move the ball around as they please.

I think it is nice of the team to serve up a different kind of shitsandwich!

Never been happier to have a wobbly stream for a United game. They are completely bossing us, it's a disgrace.

Poor half, the worst in a few weeks now as actually been quite good but wasteful in recent first halves.

As I said before the game, I don't much faith in us to get a result today but this is easier for Brighton than I thought. I wouldn't say they've been dominant over us, but certainly the better side and relatively comfortable albeit without scoring themselves.

Need a radical wake up call second half.

That was it then. That was Rangnick’s honeymoon period when the players looked like they cared for a handful of minutes per match. We’ll look back on those unconvincing 1-0s against Norwich and Crystal Palace and scattering of score draws against mid-table and lower opposition as glory days.

    We don't talk about Bruno?
