ddg would have let it slip in at the near post
stupid PL use of VAR. It should be clear and obvious error to rule out decisions made by the on-field referee even if the decision is incorrect.
It should be changed to a challenge system like cricket. That way a captain can call a challenge if his team are adamant a red card wasn't deserved or the goal was handball/offside. Get it wrong and you lose your challenge. Get it right and you keep it.
It would allow big errors to be caught but minor ones wouldn't be worth the risk of losing the challenge.
A bit like Bailly then.
