So happy we playing the strongest line up. The most important thing is getting 4th and getting it wrapped up when the competition looks shaky. We can use 5 subs, not bothered about tiredness yet as sub rotation keeps our top 11 fresh and match fit. Be great to see Shaw Matic and Maguire come off today at some point providing we are winning. I feel really confident today, hopefully do not not jinx it. 6 0 to us.

Ole swerved me out of a perfect 11. Hopefully we can get them washed by half time and make ome changes.

I think Rashford will score 2.
I'd absolutely love that. He hasn't looked sharp so far (which is understandable), but it would be great to get him firing as well.

Watch Solanke double his PL goal tally against us. Would be so typical that the worst “striker” in the league bag against us!

Man Utd XI: Man Utd: de Gea, Wan Bissaka, Lindelof, Maguire, Shaw, Pogba, Matic, Greenwood, Bruno Fernandes, Rashford, Martial. Subs: Bailly, Mata, Andreas Pereira, Fred, James, Romero, Ighalo, McTominay, Williams

Waaaahhh! They're injured! How will we cope? We have such terrible luck... sob

    Happy now? :D

Hope we not just win but improve GD significantly.

Lingard not even on bench. Fine. But how the club planning to offload him? Or pay 5m just to train with the first squad for next 12 months? Good life eh.

Him and his mate Jones done well to be still at United.

    Time to go now lads.

Trolling the caf lineup predictions too. The only change I made was Fred for Matic as I thought Matic is old and needed a rest.
He’s 31! The way people talk you’d think he was 36

Matic is 2 years younger than Jamie Vardy. Let that sink in.

Hopefully the game is won by half time & we can give Pogba, Bruno & Tony a rest. Maybe Matic too.

I’d like to give Maguire a rest too but Bailly, Jones & Tuanzebe are all made of shatter glass. Wouldn’t mind getting Big Mike back as back up next season. None of our other back up defenders can head the ball or stay fit.
Think he'll only come back if Ole tells him he has a genuine chance of competing for the starting spot. TBH though, he would have gotten chances this season considering the CBs who stayed all got injured other than Maguire and Lindelof.

Matic can cope with playing 60 odd minutes when he's hardly having to do much at the moment. But long term, he obviously shouldn't be playing three games a week, he's shown he can't.

Good line up, and time to see if they can put in another top performance. We should not give Bournemouth a sniff.

With teams like this, it can become a tough game if they get some encouragement.

this is bad, as I was expecting to see Mengi on the bench instead of someone. But no complaints, other than that
He's not making the bench ahead of Bailly and Williams and we'll be prioritising making changes to our forward players for rest.

Thats not how you manage 'rest' though. You don't wait until the player is burnt out and take him off from the next match. You look for easy matches and bring the backups so thats we still get our job done but the player is well rested ready to help us later.
Was joking about Matic being burnt out. I think this line up is the most risk free we could put out

He certainly fooled me, fecking Smeagol

I initially predicted the same lineup but then after Ole’s presser yesterday, I made two adjustments to mines with both Fred & Williams in for Matic & Shaw.

Win then rest. These players can manage 60 minutes every 3/4 days as long as we use our 5 subs well each game.
    Hopefully so. Matic played 90 + 40 + 90 + today
In 10 days. Both Pogba and Bruno got enough rest.

I'm not sure why anyone thought this. My reading of his comments was that he wasn't going to make any changes unless forced to by them not being fit to play.

No excuses, strongest XI, no rotation, have to smash them

I changed matic out on earlier. Feck off.
    But brilliant.
Same. I was pretty certain Ole wouldn't make many changes as we've got a decent break until the next match, but thought he'd take the opportunity to rest Matic.

Fingers crossed he makes it to the end of the season without burning out again as he's seemed to the last couple of years when he's playing just about every match.

Hope Bournemouth are already beaten and completely roll over like teams seem to do to City and Pool. Don't even bother fighting. Six goals and a job well done.

No excuse but to get a result today. I expect we will do. I also understand why people are talking about rest and rotation but do you not reckon it’s pretty easy to save energy when you are dominating a game. We have controlled the play much better recently so I don’t feel like the players are that exerted.

Also hoping Martial scores again, needs those goals to keep he harks away and shut up the critics for another day!

Mentally we need to start as if our lives depend on it. Don't think the game is won already. Put the cherries to the sword.

Is he trying to claim it was confirmed by United or they put a call in and got no answer? What's the point of saying a call went in?
"No comment". Even in his article it said United refused to comment. So he just ran it.

Well to save face. The Mirror journo knows he majorly fecked up by falling for a parody website. He’s not going to publicly admit it.
