First shot on goal in this game was our goal in the 43rd minute. First attempted shot for both sides was Bournemouth's chance a few min earlier. Says it all
I should start betting again. Our first halves have been so predictable this year.

I remember when we first played Barcelona in the final, SAF said he made a mistake in the preparation by resting the whole team in their previous game, so next time around he didn't rest them before the next final. Admittedly the result was still the same but there's a certain logic to not resting everyone too.

I agree, resting everybody is daft. But a good manager can judge who is better off having the rest or is irreplaceable (ie Smalling, Martial... De Gea even)

There's a lot of poetic justice in us missing out on Champions League because we don't create chances and score goals. Seems fitting.

Goal of the season. Drab as usual apart from those five seconds.

That was a terrible half of football. The funny thing that we would still played like this is we only needed a 2-0 victory. Shambles!

Our goal difference compared to city while equal on points is a fecking disgrace. Boring Boring Van Gaal. I hope he has piles from sitting on our bench so long.

Scored every shot we've had on target this game. I think that's great if you just ignore the fact that we've only managed one shot on target against a newly promoted club, it's great.

That's the essence of the philosophy.

Is what something new? That when it mattered they have now beat us twice on goal difference to something we were both chasing?

And City have been shit on a stick this season like us.

That they score more goals than us - is that something new? Since the start of Pellegrinis reign City have been playing good, attacking football. Now compare that to the football LvG stands for. And no, City has clearly been better than us, you know they've reached the semifinals in the CLs and took the 4th spot in front of us?

The 1 time CBJ actually got high up the pitch to give martial space, the 1 time Mata is in the right position to play a 1/2, the first time Rooney is in the box to support the strikers,

    WE SCORE A GOAL

It's not rocket science, we finally did the simple things in the right way. We haven't done the right things in the right way anywhere near enough this year.

Twice as many backpasses as forward passes against Bournemouth at home. Because philosophy.

One word; wow! Makes you really look forward to next season. Think I'm going to drag my balls through broken glass after this to top of a great evening.

We should swap our 18 titles for 18 goals and keep van Gaal, said Kinder Bueno.

I have said it for months, if they wanted to sack him they would've done it already.
    I hope I am wrong.

Let me offer you another perspective. This is LvGs' very last job before he retires. United are obsessed with doing things the right way and showing class. They're simply showing him respect here, and rightfully so I might add. Instead of firing him mid-season before any trophies have been given out, they're letting him at least finish the season. Yes us fans have suffered, but the club is rightfully not run on the whims of what the fans are feeling. We waited until top four was absolutely certainly out of the question then the next day Moyes was gone. If we're going to offer Moyes that courtesy you bet we're going to do the same for LvG's very last season.

Again, I'm convinced this is his last home game. I expect him to be gone at least 2 days after the cup, probably the same night if we lose.

Right, now you have gotten that off your chest, how does what you say make me feel any better that City have once again beat us to something on goal difference? Which is what I was saying...you know...the fact that it upsets me that City have beat us to something on goal difference again. Am I allowed to feel saddened by that? Or will you get back on your soapbox and spout off another load of shite I don't give two fecks about?

Final 45 mins of this disastrous shameful premier league season. Cheers lads. Hopefully that cnut out.

"Cutting through defenders like Wolverine from X-Men, out this summer!" -MUTV
That Ed lad is some can of piss, you can see his sweaty cabbage patch hands all over it. After the season we have had the club decides to force a run of the mill super hero movie down our throats. Priorities of Manchester United people. The only way this would be acceptable to me is if Mourinho repelled from the top of the stadium dressed as Wolverine to sharpen his claws on the goalpost while menacingly forcing David to sign a lifetime contract.
