Once a-fecking-gain we don’t have any game plan. If we’re up against a team with a modicum of tactical nous we can’t do anything.

I honestly have no idea what we’re working on in training because we are all over the place defensively, passing-wise and in attack.

A bit of enthusiasm from the front players doesn’t hide a complete lack of a game plan.

This is actually one of our better performances attacking wise. Good chances but not converting. Glimpses of last season (first half).

We had 1 decent play - Bruno to Fred. This last one was a desperate hoofball and a defender mistake. Rashford with an awful finish though.

As I've said - Ole's luck from the last two seasons has run out. Nowhere to hide now.

Going by our form, recipe for disaster. The midfield will be overrun if Ole sticks to Fred or McT. We need players who can pass through the press, who is good on the ball.
Change to 352 to match their numbers in midfield and start Dalot ,Matic and Donny . Bench one of Pogba/ Bruno. Rashford should start with Ronaldo. Once you bypass the first press , it's easy to get into their half.

Called it on Sunday. Shame because Ole won't get it.

Feel like a lot are criticising the players rather than blaming Ole. It's fairly obvious Ole is the issue at this stage I'm not blaming any of them.

The biggest reason we are so fecking awful is the fact there is a front 4 who won't drop deep for McFred. There is ALWAYS a HUGE gap between McFred and the front 4.

Rashford, Bruno, Greenwood need to drop deeper and collect the ball off of McFred and then push forward to get balls into the box for Ronaldo.

This would solve a lot of problems, because we keep getting pulled apart through the middle. Which is where the massive gap is!

We've created a few chances but I'd say it's been poor. Some of the build up play has been really shabby and we've looked panicky since going a goal down. The defending was bad for both goals and we've looked half asleep on a couple of quick free kicks.

Inevitably it'll be pointed out that we looked more dangerous in this game going forward (which is true), but let's keep in mind that Atalanta are playing right into our hands and giving us every opportunity to get chances with how high they play and how open they are.

Any other side other than Attacklanta and we don't get those chances, period. If we don't level this game I'd be surprised. On the other hand, I have zero confidence we won't concede again, so.....
