This game was arguably more important than the Liverpool victory, as ultimately that would've meant nothing had we not got the three points here.

S-t all second half but I'll take a 3-1. Salvaged by our efficiency in front of goal. God knows what Van Gaal told them at half time. Didn't come out for the second 45 really.

Not a great game, but good win. Deserved in the end, but we were sloppy for large parts of the game.

Great game by Ander, racking up the goals! Superb goal by Wazza as well. With Liverpool and Southampton both losing, top 4 is looking good.

Good win, Villa defended well and sat back most of the time. Didn't like how we got so sloppy in the 2nd half but we controlled the game well and only let in a goal because of a De Gea blunder.

I think he's one of our worse in the starting lineup. He's taken off. Di Maria and Mata both provide assists. Young looks more busy but he's way, way less effective. Valencia is the same. Young gets all this space and is usually one v one. He needs to do more.

Mata-Herrera just beautiful to watch. Finlly we have a very good MF with Carrick always doing his job as always also. We really needed that kind of mobility in MF and Herrera the one who can offer that. Good that LVG knew that Ander is a starter.
