Rashford you sly dog, making it seem like he arrived late but it's all part of the master plan to create space for McTominay
A striker could have slide in to put the ball in the net but rashy knew that moment belonged to McT. :D

A bit more direct, Carrick I think shot on the other post. This is still delightful because he doesn't shoot low, he knows he has to aim high, and the keeper was surprised by the tempo. Perfect timing.

    2nd one.

Other side of the net but very reminiscent.

Because he couldn’t get onto a deflected cross? Aside from the assist? :boring:

He deserves credit on that one, but Rashfords bad form HAS cost us points. A lot of them.

Anyway, I like what Im seeing in this first half. Having Pogba back is so impossibly crucial for this team.

McSaucey back at the races. He's actually had a few stray passes tonight but respect him taking responsibility for the ball there. The likes of Andreas and Lingard have been doing lay offs in as good/better positions, thank God someone had the balls to shoot in a good position. I mean its p'n it down. You shoot and it slides off the turf and the chances of scoring have gotta be high. The cowardliness we've shown has been poor and we're lucky not to have been punished for it.

Once again the senior players, especially Young, have to do better. Axel looks a better left back than Young and Young's been playing there for years whereas Axel's a centre back.
Yes, very good and c omposed game by Axel. Like the look of him.

This. fecker needs to pull the fingers out of his ass more often.
Yeah for sure. But at the same - we are screwed royally without him. He is literally the only player we have that can have that kind of effect on the team. I am still buzzing!

Watching axel on the ball and considering the playing surface why isnt this guy being given a chance as our defensive midfielder, he should do after tonight over the likes of matic and fred surely?

We look half decent, because Arsenal are actually worse than us in every department other than their Strikers.

Rashford needs to be dropped on shoved out on the right wing permanently, he simply isn't good enough up front and never will be. Play James or Greenwood up there.

Rashford has a very poor half actually. However, he claimed an assist which is important to note

good half from Axel and James and a great goal by McTominay. Conditions out there are awful. Doesn't surprise me its being so scrappy. With the way Arsenal have been defending with everyone back I reckon its worth a few long range efforts with that rain. Hoepfully Arsenal will come out more from the back now after the goal and we may get a chance to get behind them. Game hasn't been anywhere near as bad as is been made out on here.

Axel, James and McTominay the bright sparks of that half for me. James pace on the break is a great asset.

Lingard invisibility cloak is working well, Rashfords Bambi on ice impression really good, young crossing to the man on the moon

2 dreadful teams, shadows of their former selves. I good goal serperates them.

Pogba's performance for the first 40 minutes of that game is worthy of a fine. Completely half arsing everything and not looking tossed at all. Disgraceful performance. Then he came alive a bit in the last 5... But still, needs to do better.

Lingard has been as anonymous as you'd expect, and Rashford has been poor.

Huge Rashford fan, but he should be nowhere near the team at the moment. His form is fecking dreadful.

Rashford. This is quite the same opportunity he had in Barça game, Southampton game as well iirc. He just runs on and had no ideas what to do next until decided to use his left to take a soft shot. Those are opportunities that shouldn't be wasted like that.

Axel, James and McTominay the bright sparks of that half for me. James pace on the break is a great asset.

Lingard invisibility cloak is working well, Rashfords Bambi on ice impression really good, young crossing to the man on the moon

    Sums it up nicely.

Once again the senior players, especially Young, have to do better. Axel looks a better left back than Young and Young's been playing there for years whereas Axel's a centre back.

I fully expect Young to get a red card. AWB and Tuanzebe to be the backs next games.

Great goal and good for the game too as we were beginning to sleep walk into the same zombie patterns that did for us against West ham.

If we push on they're here for the taking, if we don't push on then we are

That was Scott McTominay's first goal at Old Trafford apparently. That doesn't seem correct? Sure he scored at Old Trafford before?

Who's 34? Xhaka? Did he get booked for that obvious tug on Lingard in the build up?

Yet Pogba has been one of the better players on the pitch.

Which should be embarrassing for the other players because he has been pretty bad himself.

Since he gets a lot of criticism here, it was Pereira who started that counter attack for the goal.
