Bruno needs some time on the bench. He's simply not justified being given such a lofty role in this team.
I like Poch but no, the jobs to big for him. As I think it’ll ultimately proved to be for ETH (I hope of course I am wrong and he goes on to win everything whilst here for years to come).
The Job is most definitely not too big for Poch. He's the only guy out there who would suit the job. He has actually built a great premier league team from the bottom up. He was the exact manager needed for this kind of job.

Be careful, they’ll start name calling you soon with outrageous opinions like this.

Hopefully, lessons were learned today. The main one being we've a long way to go before we can even think of closing the gap on City.
At full time, I’d say a few players had decent/good performances, like Antony and Martial, but we can’t match City unless everyone is firing together. Today it was like playing without Eriksen, we had no one pulling strings or making the most of forward runs, no one creating.

Rubbish performance, but we shut them up at the end at least, was like a library come the final whistle.

They were quiet all game to be fair didn't hear a peep out of them. A shame as 1 of the great derbies has been washed away by oil money.

And Bob Paisely spent even lesser money. This has nothing to do with it. Pep has already crosssed that minimum number of wins to be considered in the same Tier as SAF. The only difference now is in style of play and Guardiola wins it hands down.

Regardless of United succes, Fergusons success with Aberdeen was more impressive then anything Pep has done. Pep has only ever had the best players and budget in EVERY team he’s managed and clubs setup entirely to compliment his coaching skill. No manager in the history of the sport has ever had such support.

Ferguson never had the consistent financial doping advantage pep has had either but jog on with your nonsense.

How is his form relevant to this discussion?

He shouldn't be singling out a United player and labelling them a whinger. It's out of order.
Keano used to berate the ref.. but he played his heart out ever time. same can't be said of bruno - it;s called taking the beam out of your own eye before removing the speck in your mate's

The team was awful but special mention to Bruno and Eriksen for giving the ball away every single time. Dreadful.

Is it bad that I don't feel as awful now, putting 3 past city feels a lot better than losing 7-nil which is what I expected at half time!!!
    Feel much the same way.
At least it will lessen the hysteria on places like Talksport.
We still need a massive improvement though.

Never expected us to win. Didn’t expect it to be as easy as it was for City though. At least we scored 3 goals which was some kind of positive to take from this game.

We started off with low confidence . They were all over us from the word go.

When did Pep win the treble. Also Ferguson won with teams not full of superstars. Pep has never tried that. Pep is a great manager but no-one comes close to Ferguson

We are deluding ourselves if we can take comfort from getting 3 goals back and supposingly making the score line more respectable.

We we’re humilated, dominated and destroyed by the tw@ts, before they took their foot off the gas and then made loads of subs, to save some players for their Wednesday CL game.

We have a long way to come back from this defeat.

Is this a serious question? He literally won it in his first year as manager.
Also Ferguson won with teams not full of superstars.

Beckham, Scholes, Keane, Rooney, Ferdinand, Tevez, Staam, Giggs, RvP and many such players would be considered superstars.

Positives…Martial scored twice, Antony scored a superb goal. Its only 3 points lost. Everything is still to play for this season.

(We badly need to let ETH spend in January to sign a midfielder and striker.)

    Negatives…just about everything else.

No one really expected us to win and we didn’t disappoint in that aspect.

We also have to remember that this City side is streets ahead of us and everyone else. We won't be the only side they tear apart this season, that's for sure.

This result is down to lack of effort and that is a very worrying sign for the future of Ten Hag

They should first start asking questions about themselves and how they have allowed the club to sink into mediocrity. Yes, they have spent in the transfer market but other than that their approach has been nothing but disorganised and unsystematic. They have no one to blame but themselves.
I hate them more than anybody. But they got us the manager we wanted and spent 225m.

Like Eriksen then. He was just as bad. Not marked out of the game.

He was better. At least helped create. He saw Antony for the first goal. That having been said the biggest issues for me where McT, Rashford and Sancho. Soon as the changes came we where better.

The Premier League treble? News to me.
Rvp and who else. Peps Barca and City had/have superstars on every position and on the bench.

He stayed there longer than at any other club - I think he might stay even longer than his current contract.

There aren't a huge amount of options available.

Back to Barcelona, stay at City, back to Bayern? I doubt he will takeover PSG. I can't see him going to Serie A.

He needs to take a sabbatical to help save the remaining 3 strands of hair he has left. Someone ought to let him know

Agree, st pep has been with clubs with plenty of cash , end of it he will go down as one of the great coaches, along with others , he was given better tools than most to use though. ATM there is no other club financially who he can go to! Back to Barca no , Real never , Bayern been there . PsG same as city Arabs

Casemiro added composure and calmness to our midfield. He should be starting over McT moving forward.
After we are 6 2 down with no pressure. Not saying he shouldnt but lets see how he does against say Villa when its 0 0 in the 75th minute

Negatives- passive manager not hooking tominay when it was clear as day that he is shite.

And why do they do that? Because they know how good he is so give him exactly what he needs to do the job. There's a reason these clubs chose him instead of a cheaper Chris Wilder level of manager if it's all down to off field support. It's a strange argument to try and belittle someone.

Also, Fergie built two dominant teams a decade apart. That is the hardest thing to do in football and is absolutely mind boggling. Once Pep's teams reached their limit, he just walked away.

Fair enough, class eventually shows though and I think Casemiro will make a big impact.

You used to work hard to get up here. Some of the comments from these newbies I am convinced they are interlopers in here to s**t stir.
They 100% are coming in here to stir up the nest, but feck them. No point getting overly upset, at half time I'm simply amazed there could be any positives at ALL. But it's only one game, on to the next, thats 6 points we've got from city, arsenal and Liverpool.

Seeing plenty didn't think we would beat either Arsenal or Liverpool. We are trying to improve. It is about seeing who has character for a battle and think he found some today just didn't. I would be more worried if I were a Liverpool fan.
