Let's be honest, even if we look back at 4 wins, we could easily see that some issues were there and it was gonna take a lot more to significantly improve.
The quality on the ball and the mental strength needed is just no there. Our players love the comfort of playing in particular settings but when the going gets tough (vs Brentford and now this), there ain't a single leader out there

ETH strikes me as a sensible guy, so hopefully this will be the wake-up call that tells him that the likes of McTominay and Rashford are nowhere near the required standard. Serious questions also have to be asked about the likes of Sancho and Fernandes.

Pretty upsetting to watch that. City just on a different planet, United players have played the occasion and not the game, also when you go to the Etihad and try to play City at their own game then there is always the potential that this could happen. I think Bruno is the only player who has had a good game so far, ETH is going to have to bring Fred and Casemiero on to try to stabilise it somewhat.

They didn’t ‘keep possession’ - they got from their box to ours with complete ease throughout the game. They are just nowhere near as decisive in the final third. They were passing around us in a similar fashion, but often over passing and picking the wrong final ball.

Too much hype around this team based on a few wins achieved in counter attacking fashion. We have generally been pretty crap in possession and that's getting exposed today. Lots of praise for mctominay recently but he was only playing well for mctominay
