Didn’t expect us to win but you hope to see some signs of progress under Ralf. I’ve seen absolutely nothing since he’s been in charge. This group of players on paper is the most expensive shambles of a football team in the history of the game. The sooner they write off the £80m paid for Maguire, £50m for AWB, and £52m on Fred the better. How we spent nearly £200m on those 3 players shows exactly why we are in such a state. Recruitment is our biggest weakness. Even this season signing Ronaldo was a disastrous decision when we needed a CDM.
