Lads...it's Citeh at the Etihad. And we're game raising cnuts. Or are we still even that these days? I think I'm depressed.

Not really too fussed with the outcome seeing as our season has gone full tilt downwards.

I'd rather we just don't embarrass ourselves, put in a good performance and use that to make sure we don't lose a top 4 spot.

I don´t see much optimism in here, but isn´t this just the kind of game where Ole´s team typically will punch back ? I think we may be up for a surprise, and honestly, watching City play lately has not always been such a good look either, although they keep on scraping out results. I think we can win this one.

    I'd go with

    Henderson
    AWB Bailly Maguire Shaw
    McTominay Fred
    James Bruno Rashford
    Cavani

Just saw that Dean Henderson and Eric Bailly has started together in SEVEN games this season, SEVEN cleansheets. Nine goals conceded and one cleansheet in the other six games without Bailly starting.

Feels like this game couldn't come at a worse time.

Which is probably why we'll win it 4-0.

    Yup.

When have City not been overwhelming favourites against us in recent years. We’ll probably win knowing us.

    80% possession for City
30 shots for City, 10 on target vs 1 shot for us, 1 on target

    1-0 for us, Fernandes penalty
    No subs used

VAR overturns a Man City goal

then we hear fans saying Ole is better than Pep, and the board gives him an 3-year extension

Henderson set to start according to The Athletic.

That's the team I think too. Pretty much picks itself right now. Maybe Greenwood over James, but James is in better form.

Truth is City away has been our cup final recently. We are game raising cnuts now.

Have we raised our performance this season in a single league game?

If you look at 6 of our big league games (Taking out the Spurs game), we have only created 2 real clear cut chances that I can remember, Rashford’s 1:1 Home to Chelsea and Pogba V Liverpool, then on the flip-side only conceded two clear chances (from open play), Mahrez in the City game and Ziyech on Sunday.

One thing that may be in our favour is that City have got the record wins in their sights so they won’t be playing for a 0-0

No way. Rashford tends to score against the bigger teams and I trust him to bounce back against City.

I'd drop him, I'd like to see him from the bench, the few times it's happened he seems so much hungrier when he comes on.

And replace him with who exactly? He was terrible against Palace, but they all were. I trust him in the big games.

He's been awful in too many games. Hes not scored in a big game this season has he?

I'd start James on the left.

Rashford always seems hungrier when he's come off the bench.

30 years of supporting United and I've never been as sure as I am now of an impending defeat.

2-0 win for City. Martial to blow a gilt-edged chance.

Ole will have a grin at the end of it all because no bad result will ever threaten his job security.

Truthfully, City can score pretty much however many they like (within reason). We are so far off them it's a joke: at least as far off from Liverpool last season. I'm going for four but it could be five

Honestly can't be bothered watching this. We might scrape a 0-0 draw, but I can't sit through that for a fourth time in a row.

Is Cavani or Martial up top better for this game? Former is great with movement but teammates can’t seem to spot him and the latter is as static as a lamp post but has pace and mobility

Can't imagine not being up for the derby. The entitlement of some of our fans is off the scale. City fans didn't fan refuse to watch the derby when they were dog shit for 20 years and we were amazing. Honestly it's pathetic how many modern day United fans can't handle the fallow years, suck it up and enjoy the fact we're going to end their winning streak.

It'll be a tight game, quite similar to the one back in December I would think. Hope we can nick a win but I'm not particularly optimistic about it.

Hopefully we play with similar intensity against Chelsea. Not a huge fan of Dan James but we all know he's good on the counter and is back on relative form. His energy will be vital.

1-2 to us, Cavani to open, city to bounce back, and a bruno scorcher in the 82nd minute

This could be one of those games where we expect to lose and pull off a surprise. Maybe a similar moment to 2018 when we pulled off that epic 2nd half comeback, one of the most enjoyable wins Post-Fergie. I think this is a game where some of us, including myself, can put aside the skepticism and cynicism of Ole aside and just hope for a win.

    de Gea
    Wan-Bissaka Lindelof Maguire Shaw
    McTominay Fred
    James Bruno Rashford
    Cavani

Can't see much other than this. Also can't see past 1-0 to City or a 0-0 draw again. I'll be amazed if we managed to win.

This is not going to be pretty.
My mood is low at the minute and this one might be given a miss.
I cant be dealing with getting wound up when within 20 seconds we'll have settled into the pattern of sitting back to get pumped.

Pray for a 0-0 in this one. Reality I think will be somewhat of a difference

Can't see City sitting back for this one. In December they were starting to claw their way back to the top and just didn't want to lose but now with a 14 point gap they know they can afford to drop points taking the pressure off them. I'm pretty fearful for this one.

This isn’t gonna be pretty. Any fear factor we might have had we’ve done an excellent job of giving up.

If Palace can instill their game on this current team/form then city are going to have a field day.

We hope to give them a good game. Let’s aim for 400 passes and one of them might actually find a player in red
