Fred stands out a mile as the weak link in our team, looses the ball constantly as we try to pass out from the back.. no wonder the opposition target him when hes in possession .

Horrendous pass by Bruno, could‘ve set up Martial nicely there.

Midfield passing is poor but Christ the rest of the team aren't far behind....

we are so bad at protecting the ball... just feels like a matter of time till they score

A goal is coming for City if we can't sort out our sloppy passing and composure.

We knew that was going to be the case because our coaching is terrible.
But our aim today is to play a dirty, stop-start game and don't allow MCFC to play their smooth, fast passing game.
Basically, we need to play like a team in the bottom of the league, fighting hard to stay in the game, hoping to cause an upset. This is probably the only tactic to win the match.
If we attempt to out-pass MCFC, we'll get pumped!

You need to have a decent passing game, City will pump us anyway. Only for losing time and recovering. If you lose the ball like a Championship side in midfield 19/20 times, it wont end well

Horrible football this. The quality of our playerd is a fair bit lower than citys. Mcfred cant pass for sh*t. Wan bissaka looks like he is playing with boots seven sizes too big. But we still have a chance!

Feels like we're just about hanging on here. Hope we can keep this up, or find some way to get back into the game.

Starting to look desperate , just clinging on , far too early to be succeeding so much possession deep in our own half.

We really need to get these long passes on the counter a lot more faster.

We’re way too slow when the option is there

That’s better! We need to stop rushing the first pass. We have to take 2:3 passes before we move up the pitch

Desperately need to develop a sense of calm in possession. Too many rushed passes missing the mark. I know we are playing on the counter, but we need to try and grind out some possession here.

Dogshit pass from Rashford. He could have had it to feet. Not squeezed between their defence at an impossible angle

    Their energy is unbelievable.
It is. And James was started with the purpose to give us something in that area but I can't even fecking tell if he's playing he is so useless. The stats are devastating right now:

Marcus should have had a shot there I think

If we don't make it to halftime with this scoreline then it's a sure loss.

Horrific decision by Rashford, would‘ve been a great setup.

This is PL level midfielders in our team, they don't get bad overnight. The problem is lack of a tactical plan and any sense of a philosophy. I never could understand how players at this level are so afraid of receiving the ball in tight spaces. What the hell do they do all week in practice? That and shooting straight at the GK when the entire goal is wide open. Rashford is an expert there.

When are we going to realise the more we give the ball away, the more we invite them back to pressure us, which they will eventually score from....
