The two opening goals might have inspired Luton more than our players. I feel like every time Hojlund has a good start it gets cancelled by our shit players.

To be fair, it's easy to criticise EtH because we are very open, and I have been vocal at times, but if international footballers can't keep the ball and/or make basic passes then we're never going to be able to maintain control.

Luton have been spirited but they're wide open. So many times we have had four vs three or three vs two or two vs two or whatever with big gaps to run into and the pass has been nothing short of disgraceful - usually from Bruno or Rashford.

There's an 18yo kid out there shaming Bruno and Casemiro in CM. They look like the inexperienced young kids, panicking under pressure and their games falling apart. If we had three Mainoo's in there this game would be 4 or 5 one at HT

Rashford and Bruno not being able to pass is nothing new though. At least with Bruno he gets a Hollywood pass assist every 3 games so his general passing gets overlooked. I think we can get much better by retaining control in midfield; which means getting rid of both players.

Aye, well, if you had a team of characters you'd manage it better. And they also need to be prepared for it.

Did ETH mention anything in this regard to pressure the ref beforehand?

weve taken off every booked player. says it all. should just get a guy from the crowd down to ref. people always underestimate how much these constant 50:50s dictate a game. id sooner concede an early penalty then have a balanced match.

Hojlund holding it up and Mctominay watching. Take the ball man

There’s probably an argument MCT might be a better midfielder than Cas right now even without his goals, Casemiro has struggled badly.
Cas had a mare today, but our results have been better since his return. McTominay started a number of games in midfield and we had some dire results.

Casemiro was one foul away from getting that second yellow but I fear with McTominay we'll have even less control on midfield

We cannot have both Bruno and Scott going forward and leave Mainoo on his own

Great pass from Rasmus. He’s actually really quite good on the ball

One of the major weaknesses with our squad is fully exposed here.
Most of our midfield players and non of our forwards can compete in the physical duels, can’t tackle and can retain the ball when they do get a block or tackle in.
Easily out muscled all over the park.

McTit doing more defending in the Luton box than he will all half in his own.
