Counter attacking tactics with your liveliest player not featuring.
No creativity again. No ingame tactical changes from management lets wait for the subs on 60 mins exactly.
No sign of plan b with management

the gulf in the quality is so vast, cannot fault the effort by the Utd players and it could be worse.... probably will be a rout second half, but we need 5-8 players to get us near to being on par at this level

McT gives us stability and trust in the back to go more aggressive going forward.

Yeah. We're not as bad as people on here think. We had some bad luck with injuries.

Just imagine this Liverpool team without their two best players in Salah and Mane...

Weird mentality. How did you cope when we was 3-0 down to spurs back in the day? Jesus if you turn off or walk out of a game we are losing throughout history youd have missed some of the most epic moments in our history.
Didn't know SAF is still manager and we have elite players with an elite mentality?

    Those days are long gone.

    We're a bunch of yellow-bellied losers now.

Going through the motions, waiting for the game to end, praying we don't get humiliated.

Everything we would have laughed at back then.

It's a bit of a joke that our saviours supposedly meant to be Rashford. He's good but he'd be a sub in this pool side. Ours is just a jumble of a available players, theirs is their actual first XI that won a CL last year.

I disagree with you on this . If Rashers played with the players Livershite have he would be on twenty plus this season

The issue isn't so much that we're missing three top players; the issue is that we have no real quality in depth in order to maintain our performance levels when those injuries occur. The drop-off is immense. Liverpool can miss Fabinho, but they have quality coming in that doesn't cripple their system of playing.

In our current plight missing Pogba and Rashford

You know it’s bad when one of our best players is a youth product in his first season as a regular.
2 of which are injured due to poor management.
You are both correct but the point still stands. Liverpool are currently a champion team at full strength, whereas we are a transition team also depleted by key injuries.

Have done very well to finish first half at 0-1

There’s space in between Liverpool’s midfield and defence to exploit, that’s the only bit of optimism I have. Every time we get on the ball 30-40 yards out we are 1 pass away from a decent chance.
The problem is Pereira. He’s always trying to shoot when a pass is often the better option.

Why are they ignoring that VVD uses his arse to back into DDG? Him having eyes on the ball makes no difference, fouls have been given to tackles where a player has eyes on the ball and gets the player.

Got schooled there. Shame about the Pereira miss, would have been against the run of the game, but it was still close.

A very complicated issue, but the way they move the ball out from defense and into attack seems so effortless each time. We on the other hand shit ourselves under their pressure and continually give the ball away easily

Where is the attacking football Ole promised?
I know this is at Anfield, but this negative shite has been the story of the whole season.

This is the most negative football I’ve ever seen from United.
    Be realistic :wenger:

Keane and Sounness losing the plot. He jumped into the keeper and didn't get the ball. Of course its a bloody foul.

Evra is probably wondering what the hell is going on

    Greenwood for James.
    Mata for Andreas.
No we still need the pace of James, but he needs to go left and force VVD to follow him, and move Martial center, Greenwood in the Pereira role would then transition right when attacking.

So if you reckon that goal should be allowed, you should basically be allowed to jump into keepers all the time... Which would be ridiculous.

I dunno how they can argue it wasn't a foul

When DDG is in the air, he can't control his body as he isn't firm on the ground.
Van Djik didn't touch the ball, so even if he was attempting to get the ball, he didn't.

When he hits into DDG, he gets pushed back and what would have been a catch, isn't anymore...
If you jump in the air and I push you, even gently, you'll move, as you don't have any control

Not that bad of a half, just disappointing how poor United continue to be from corners, set plays, and the immediate phase of plays from it.

There is no hope of getting through this game without Liverpool scoring again unless Ole swaps out the 532 for the more familiar 4231.

Our backline is all over the place and prone to conceding at any given moment. I'd rather throw caution to the wind and opt for a more attacking approach.

Daniel James and Ole's use of him has been the most irritating thing this season - just bloody use Greenwood.

16 year old kids are being played all over the world & we literally have no one. He is 18 years old & has hardly played with Rashford & Martial even though his numbers are as good as there's.

James can't play as a RW & it's irritating watching him because it's not his fault - it's like watching Antonio Valencia again.
