Good time to score for us. Hopefully we come out fighting for the second half. Schweinsteiger leading by example again. Jesus did we go to shit after they scored though. And it had to be that prick who got their goal.

On a side note, no point in getting salty about Tyler. Its the story to be told.

And check out "humble" James Vardy's goal celebration. Running towards the camera pointing at his chest screaming "me, me, me, me, fecking me!" - good to know he's keeping his feet on the ground.

one of mata or rooney has to go off. both cannot play in this 3-5-2 . we need pace for that system. bring on depay.

shift young to RB and bring darmian to the left. our outball is at RWB and we need an attacking player there.

Summarize that half in 3 words, please.

    WE WERE SHIT

Players literally standing around watching. There was that one play along the touchline when Carrick was in close with maybe Darmian and we weren't trying to move out of the space, we were all just standing still and trying to pass it back and forth to each other. Of course, Carrick passed it to Vardy and they could've gotten a chance.

This was just ridiculous. Just Young lobbing crosses in like we did against Fulham under Moyes. Martial has to drop deep too often and his ability to open up defenders is being completely wasted. Rooney has been terrible, Carrick looks completely finished. How do we even think of playing him in a midfield 2 with Schweinsteiger?

Rooney really needs to work on adapting his game to his present physical condition. Just like how Rio, Scholes and Giggs did in the past.

Accept the fact that you're old, and work on playing to your strengths instead of assuming you cans till outrun defenders, or make up for your shitty first touch with the acceleration you no longer have.

There's got to be changes at half time, when Schweinsteiger scored I didn't even celebrate, it was relief that we might get a draw.

Carrick is done. Sad times. Also starting to think Darmian may actually not be struggling to adjust and in reality just a bit crap. Hmm.

It's scary how much more of a leader he is than Shouty.

Not sarcastic or trying to be funny, genuinely curious: what is our attacking plan in the final third?

I know all the players say it's waiting for a mistake to exploit but that seems a bit reactive as opposed to proactive in forging our own chances. We get it wide sometimes but don't often cross instead play it back towards the middle to spread it out wide again. I get why we don't cross cause we don't have many aerial threats but we don't try probing through balls either.

And that is why bastian should be our captain. He's a leader, fought for that goal unlike rooney who has been disgraceful this half.

Yes others haven't been steller but once again he has stood out as the worst that half, alongside carrick.

He is a white trash cnut.

Our main problem is that we are relying on Ashley Young to create all our chances.

He's never been a consistent crosser or passer. It's a bit ridiculous.

What are Rooney and Mata doing today? Our supposedly Best players have gone into hiding! So toothless upfront!

No he shouldn't, because there was a playing going out to him, you don't watch where the player is running, the player who can see the player communicates it, it's defending 101, that goal is all on young.
After watching some replays I have to agree with you that it is mainly Youngs fault but I still think Darmian should have been able to intercept that pass.

Agree, someone posted earlier he put in a great cross but no one was attacking the far post. Well how can it be a great cross if there is no one there? He should have looked up and put it somewhere else.
That's the thing with Young, he always crosses like that. If there's no one that's completely open he'll just aim somewhere near the far post. If it's with his right the ball will Hugh, if it with his left it will be, ironically, a lower ball with better pace on it.

Way too late for this now, he would need to swallow his pride and realize he isn't the same anymore. He's a stupid player who is completely past it.

We were worse, far, far worse in the second half v PSV

    Yessssss

I was lucky enough to be on a flight from Munich to Krakow during the second half. I saw the first half at the airport and thought it was some error with application when it sent me a notification saying it ended 0-0.
