    Here's how it will go:

We will show semi attacking intent for the first half and go into the break with a 1-0 lead.

After the restart it will be much the same but with leicester starting to pick up around the 55th minute eventually scoring soon after.

It will then be all leicester attacking again and again while we are on the back foot.

They will score to go 2-1 up after about 75/80 mins and then attempt to hold that lead.

We will half heartedly pick up the attacking play to no avail in which it will wnd.

Leicester win 2-1, Vardy breaks Van Nistelrooys record.

Would love it if Leicester come out to attack so we can see an open game. But if they have been watching us closely lately, they best way to nullify, and perhaps beat, us is by parking the bus and counter-attacking us.

I completely disagree. I think United would have less points if teams had more of a go at them as opposed to sitting back and hope Leicester go at you from the start.

Won't agree to us sitting back and inviting them to attack as well but if they open up their midfield a bit, at least it we have a better chance to score. Outscore them? Used to be our motto.

We don't really have many options to switch it up from tonight, so I'd guess just Young for Memphis.

This is on Saturday. Leicester are going to do exactly what they did last year. Run at us for 90 minutes.

Lets see how fit our elite athletes are.

Seeing that we we're absolutely knackered last 20mins of the PSV game, i think that we will lose this against a high energy side.

I never thought I'd say this, but I'm worried about us going to Leicester. :nervous:

If passion has anything to do with the final result on Saturday, we could be found wanting.

You would think the players would be raring to go given the opportunity to top the table, but such incentive seemed to count for little in last night's Champions League debacle.

I might still be suffering from post-match malaise but for the time I'm not enthusiastic about the next game. What are we going to do against Leicester? Chances are, we'll pass it around sideways for long spells and not much else. Dear God, with all the talent we've got, Jamie Vardy is going to be the star player to watch.

Seeing how shattered the team looked yesterday (especially the midfield) I'm feeling pretty apprehensive going up against a team that is all energy all over the pitch. Sadly, I think we'll lose this - 3-1 Leicester.

I'm not worried about Leicester at all, I think we'll win comfortably. They have a good record at home but look at the teams they've played - they have all been either shit or out of form (or both). We'll batter them.

I'm going to go with we got our kick up the arse performance out of the way last night so will win this one as we have a point to prove.

After the PSV game I'm not optimistic. I think we'll go and lose this with Vardy breaking the record. More doom and gloom before Christmas and new year.

I am ctually starting to think that Rooney should be one of the two in midfield just to stop us from having to deeplaying midfielders. The cap between the two up to the attacking players are way to big. Rooney always plays anyway so..
Or maybe he could put Martial and Memphis as CM and they still would lay deep and just pass it around.

If he insist with playing two deeplaying MF he should atleast put the wingbacks higher up at the pitch when we attack. Maybe use Young as LB or RB just to get some attacking play from the backs.

    So :
    -------------Morgan/Bastian---Rooney-----------
    Lindgard------------Mata-----------Memphis
    --------------------Martial---------------------

    Or :
    --------------Morgan/Bastian-----------------
    -------Rooney----------------Mata-----------
    Lindgard------------Martial---------Memphis

Do we have any promising young lads who'd be able come into the midfield alongside one of our CDM's. Could use someone who is able to link the attack rather than having 2 players sitting back. Can Pereira play centre mid?

2 or 3-0 for us. Will be like Everton, everyone depressed and pessimistic as feck and then we go out and beat them comfortable. They are not one of those teams, who will sit back, so we will get our chances, just need to take them then.

Why do I suddenly have this idea of Jamie Vardy being an elite striker. Damn, other strikers in the PL need to step up.

I thought playing on the counter was their preferred approach? That's certainly how they destroyed us last season. There's a decent chance of something similar happening again. Counter-attacking specialists are our worst nightmare under Van Gaal.

We should win this comfortably. Should. The only factor that gives them the edge is that they have had a great run of fixtures to build confidence and momentum. The wind is in the sails and are under zero pressure. They're only about 4 wins away from securing PL status (going on 40 points being enough) and we're not even in December. We'll probably be a bit downtrodden given we didn't get the result we needed last night, and the team looks knackered.

I think Memphis has to play upfront, or not at all. He doesn't work hard enough off the ball, and he gives it away cheaply and shows no desire to get it back. I don't think Martial looked match-fit either, so perhaps Memphis will return to the strikers position if Martial isn't 100%.

Just watch us suffocate Leicester. He only problem is that we might suffocate ourselves in the process.

Think this'll be a dull 1-0 affair as long as Mike and Blind are awake. But as long as Vardy doesn't score I'm happy.

So many problems with this line-up. No wingers as full-backs, Young playing as a winger, Martial used in the place he's most effective. Crazy talk!

I, for some reason, feel confident about this one. Leicester are usually shit in the first half and I think we'll score 1 or 2 and rely on our defence to see us through. 0-2 United with Martial and Mata getting the goals.

Is Jones fit for this? Leicester attack at rapid pace, would like to see Jones at CB with blind at LB.

If it's really twisted ankle without any further damages than he got realistic chance to make it.

    De Gea
    Darmian--Smalling--Rojo--Blind
    Schneiderlin--Schweinsteiger
    Mata--Rooney--Lingard/Young
    Martial

I hope Jones makes it just because I don't want Blind up against the direct running and pace of Vardy. If Jones isn't fit then put Rojo next to Smalling.

2-1 for us.Lingard double to shut the critics down.

    He is a centre mid.

Blind at LB and Young at RB please, our team needs full backs that can contribute going forward.
