We played on Thursday, in Milan. Leicester had a break because they went out of Europe. We simply don't have the squad to compete for every trophy, as today has sadly shown. We've been let down by the likes of Matic, Fred, Martial.Leicester deserved it, so I can't really complain.
This has been coming for some time. I can only really count on one hand the performances were we have dominated this season, we have looked poor in the vast majority of our games.

We've also had some pretty heavy fixtures lately. Leicester would've struggled heavily if it was the other way around too.

Fred is absolutely garbage in possession and Matic is so slow these days. Totally exposed by a younger midfield. We need to start drafting our younger players in. They will develop far more than Matic can
DvB gets credit for Greenwood's goal, Fred gets credit for losing ball that directly led to Leicester goal and for giving them numerous opportunities they didn't use. Fred was the worst player on the pitch today.

Apparent after around 7/8 minutes that Leicester were going to expose AWB, Fred and Maguire’s ability to keep the ball.
Only consolation is that we were never going to beat City again anyway and none of these sides will.until the first goal we were in control without creating anything to be honest. such gifts get punished on that level and leicester are no pushovers. i am really depressed as we had a good cup run and in the end our squad is not deep enough to challenge on three fronts. we had to play our best 11 against milan midweek so it was ok to change things up a bit. the problem is that people like matic or telles are not good enough. we need upgrades here and there. really hope we now concentrate on the el. we have to win something soon
