Only because there is an award at the end of it.But arent cups an ego boost, league position is all that matters.

Sure just before we went on our shite run he said we weren't thinking about winning the league.
Agree. Expect his new contract to be announced soon...
He's taken us as far as he can
BullshitNobody wants to see the club fail!! Some of us just see how unbelievably average the manager is.
she must hate you!Confession time; I actually didn't know this game was on today and it was only down to my GF reminding me.
I wish she had fecking not bothered.
We're playing Leicester, not Bayern Munich. Most of Leicester's players look streets ahead of our lot and that shouldn't be the case. Are we going to keep blaming the players or our we going to look at the main issue which is the coaching?Must be difficult for a manager when you have to start most games with Fred , Martial and James. And then you're expeceted to play attacking football and win trophies as well. It cant be done.
Not many of our players are players you can win the league with.
I really like the FA cup.
Has an old school feel about it.
Always identified it as a catalyst in our former title charges.
This team is nowhere near a title challenge.
can't say I saw thatBullshit
We had members begging for us to get beat on Thursday so they'd sack the manager.
Of course tiredness plays a factor, we had to make changes today purely because of tiredness.
It’s looking more and more by the week it’s just ‘get out there lads and see what you can do’. feck.We have players to be good enough.
We are not managed well enough.
We are not well drilled. We are not a decent tactical unit. We are not coherent.
Its all on how the manager uses the players at his disposal and we have an inexperienced manager that is making it up as he goes along.
It isnt rocket science. He had five subs not three. Man if he had three he should have changed it. How could he not see it wasnt working at half time. Another ole mess to go with the seven defensive players against Leipzig that cost us.Yeah should have either started our strongest team and took them off later or made at least two at half time but he did fecking neither
His signature buildup?Just pass the ball out to Shaw, Maguire...there’s a good lad.
I am getting angry at the sight of Martial at this stage.
Easy against martial. Hes been bone idle.Leicester defence have absolutely bossed us.
not a sniff
can’t penetrate or create even half chances.
dear lord, have a sense of humour
Most of these players have also taken us as far as they can. Yet we all know feck-all will change in the summer.
I think that's a little harsh, I do agree that Ole is an average manager. Playing for United there is the added pressure of media, fans, history and size of this club. I dont think many managers would make Lingard good at United, even Moyes.
she must hate you!
95% of their players would not get anywhere near our squad.
I think we're the only fanbase who doesn't get the link between players performance and management.
We play bad and it's somehow a defence of a manager because it proves his players are bad. We play well and the manager gets praised. Easiest job in football that, no situation to be blamed.
It is hard to explain to some people that.Nobody wants to see the club fail!! Some of us just see how unbelievably average the manager is.
Again, the international break isn't really a "break" for many of our players. Bruno, for example, will travel and play two World Cup qualifiers for Portugal. Resting him was absolutely the right move - the problem is we are pretty much a one-man team, we look lost without him and he can't be expected to play every minute of every game.Bloody hell the players are on international break after this.
It's very odd seeing posters who've been clamouring for months for a guy who binned domestic cups off every year whilst he was at Spurs, suddenly being against resting players in cup matches.
