Some people just like to slag Pogba off it seems. He's been decent this half.Mkhi is doing well in that role. If he does indeed stay at that position, then we can have Martial on the wing and that can be a frightening attack set up
Not really flattering, we created 3 or 4 chances in the half and score 2 of them. We also had miles more possession.
I haven't been Martials biggest fan but I just don't see what Mata offers to play ahead of him.Carragher doesn't think it's a red for Mata if i heard correctly.United to make a sub?

I just don't see it. His foot is on the floor. It's not high, he's not jumped in, it's not two footed, how is it a red?Zlatan's finish is good. It seemed weak I wonder if he cannot generate as much power as he could beforeMkhi is a brilliant counter attacking player.

Would have been on 47 points, joint 4th with this victory.We´ve played horrible in that 1st half. Luckily we had 2 moments of individual quality. Only the defence did a good job so far.
Midfield has been a shambles apart from a few quality moments from Mkhitaryan. I hope Mourinho also tells our two spaniards that they have to pass the ball forward not backwards when we´re trying to start an attack. Rashford also poor so far. Needs to be a bit more brave, even though i don´t understand why he is criticized for not taking on his man. Every time he got a 1 on 1 situation on the wings there was nobody in the box or about to make a run, so he didn´t have much of a choice than passing backwards.
After what Carragher did to Nani's leg, it was nothing.Rashford finishing has been dreadful recently but he is making off the ball attacking runs which martial is not.Again, we can't build from the back without Carrick.United to make a sub?

To be fair it could easily have been a red.
Any time you fly in to a challenge studs up, miss the ball and instead take out the player, you run a very heavy risk of being sent off.
So good to see him back. Was a really brave but needed tackle he made when they were through.
Yeh I'm not seeing it either. How do people expect players to slide tackle? With their instep? It was late, it's a yellow. That's it.

Meh just when Smalling had a good game as wellMata fortunate not to see red. Though at first look I did not think so. Nothing in this game at all until the two goals. It was just watching two teams do nothing.Excellent, marvellous, absolutely stunning. Efficient, effective football. We caught them with 2 goals inside a minute. This is how we kill teams.
We have a lot to look forward to. Just one point behind Liverpool now and I'm not going to be surprised if we overtake them (and Arsenal) within the next two weeks. Both of them are in free fall especially Liverpool.Our penetration before the goal was awful, which is worrisome with both Mkhitaryan and Mata on the side.
