I belive we've only won both home and away against Leeds in the league twice, both back in the 90s.Leeds trying to kick us out the game.is there a worse CB in the premier league in the opponent's box than Maguire? Customary free header - and it was closer to the goals at Old Trafford than the one at Elland Road,,,Why is Fred always over a free-kick? Is there some level of self-delusion or lack of self-awareness on his part? He routinely pops shots off from outside the box to no avail and can always be found hovering around the ball when there's a free-kick to be taken. I don't understand this. It's not even good as a decoy because the defenders already know he's not actually going to take it.
Meanwhile, you've got Greenwood, a genuine left-footed (and right) player who has a reputation for being a good free-kick taker who somehow never gets to take shots from advantageous positions on the right-side of the box. I can't fathom his lack of inclusion in these types of direct free-kicks.We are boring to watch, no doubt, but we are 2nd half team. Pretty much all our games are won in the 2nd half, so I expect nothing but a win in the 2nd half.

Yeah, I do wonder if the centre backs who score plenty of set piece headers spend longer practicing that kind of accurate header at goal - while most just practice the headed clearance of 'as far and high as possible' and don't bother practicing keeping headers down and at a target enough.
It's pretty poor if they don't, given how important set pieces can be in the game. And pretty poor if they do yet never improve at it.
