    We look a much better team when Lukaku isn’t playing.
     
    Not too bad to be honest, even if we have been lucky at the back at times. Such a shame that we have no idea what to do when we have the ball on Juventus half. Everyone just standing and watching the ball instead of making runs or something. Really wish we could improve that in the second half.
     
    Herrera and Lindelof are our best players this half. But Pogba, Matic and Lingard are not good enough this half.
     
    A spine of Lindelof Herrera and Sanchez is the difference for us tonight vs the home fixture.
     
    HT review:

    DDG - A couple of vital stops, saved by the post on one occasion

    Young - Abysmal
    Smalling - Steady
    Lindelof - Solid
    Shaw - Decent

    Herrera - Very good
    Pogba - Trying too hard, failing
    Matic- Crap

    Martial - Promising
    Sanchez - Great
    Lingard - Ok

    Overall we've held our own well and a much better performance than the home tie. Still a way to go though, and we need to raise our game further to create a goalscoring chance.

    We finished the first half without conceding a goal. A rarity.

    The game was relatively even upto the 35 minute mark, before Juve took control. I think we played really well to be fair.
     
    How are people complaining still?! We’re so much of a worse team than them as proved last time we played, and we’ve held our own. Could easily go to shit in the second half, but we’ve done well. We’re a terribly average team.
     
    Pogba has been awful so far.

    We just attack so slow. We play at a walking pace. Makes it easy for the Juve defense. Need to up the tempo a lot.
     
    Ashley young and lingard need to provide more width. We aren’t throwing enough bodies forward because we are scared of a counter.
     
    Good first half. Hope we continue with this style of play going forward.
    Still need to work out our play in the final third, but not much to complain about.
     
    For a neutral this is surely a shite match to watch. I'm falling asleep.

    Anyway we lack any cutting edge upfront thanks to Sanchez drifting wide, our players being so deep and our shite transition.

    We need to up the tempo. Put Fred for Matic and tell Pogba to sort himself out. Sanchez should stay central.
     
    Pogba is not disciplined enough. losing the ball to easily. Looks nervous.
     
    Halftime 0-0 but awful performance if we're honest. Hate seeing us play like this. No ambition or desire to attack at all. Juventus arent some all time great team, we just approach this (and most big games) with a small time mentality.

    Waiting to be beaten is how I'd describe this game from our point of view, and hoping time runs out before we are beaten.
     
    Very impressed with our line up, our balance, our ability to break quickly.

    Pogba has been sloppy unfortunately, but Sanchez looks like the player we thought we were getting.

    Really hope to see this attacking quartet (with Pogba) in the coming months.

    And Lindelof has been superb.

    Lindelof has been brilliant. Really stepping up the last few matches. We're lacking a right side tho. Lingard and Young just not good enough. Juventus not even taking that side seriously. We need a RW bad.
     
    Wow Pogba is really struggling today. I think he’s failed to trap the ball at least 70% of the time. He needs some sniffing salts at half time, or a boot to the face - anything to wake him up. Lindleof is once again dominating this game
     
    Also Lingard, already fed up with him. Terribly average player that had a purple patch last season. He's a nothing player these days.
     
    Pretty easy for the first 30, very difficult last 15, Matic and Pogba have to show up second half, if they do Utd can get a positive result here.

    Lindelof is continuing his upward curve, Sanchez looks far brighter in that central role.

    Excellent half that. Sánchez doing well up front and Lindelof looks great again.

    Martial must frustrate the feck out of his managers. So good on the ball but so lazy off it.
