That Fellaini goal in the first game was vital in the end.Worst performance in quite a while. Clearly not approached the game with the right mentality. I guess nobody was up for this return leg as they all expected to go through anyway after the homeleg win. It shouldn't happen, but it has happened under SAF in the past too so I'm not too worries about this (yet).
I expect us to improve our game again in the next game.

Agree on the latter, but how you can complain about Rashford after this game is insane..Made hard fecking work of it. We made Hull look like Peps Barcelona on occasions.
Still though we will up it big time against Southampton.Mourinho was at fault for that, negative tactics and poor team selection, but we got through and the defeat might do us some good.
Jose wanted to simply contain them, but Hull gave us a game and some.

Rashford was the only player who bothered trying today. Strange kneejerk postgod what a shite effort that was.
He was never close to score or assist in a game vs very low quality opposition. He looks way better than what he actually contribute with. He tries fairly hard but that is far from enough. I like the kid but he has to be judged like a Manchester United player and he has not even been near acceptable this season. A club as big as this need better quality even as a sub. I think Rashford need game time at a lesser club for a few years before he could be ready for the role he has had with us this season.
It isn´t enough to try as the quality most be there and i cant see it. it is no kneejerk from me as it has been my opinion from the start that he is noway near ready or good enough yet .Awful display by almost all of our players.

Did you miss our goal? I'd qualify that as very close to assisting..Poor at the back hopeless in midfield and nothing happening up front did anyone raise a sweat, even Jose looked disheartened.
That was a major mistake from huddlestone that made it possible though and giving Rashford credit it for as assist is going to the extremes. I want him to do well but there is no such as close to assisting. We are 6 in the league as our wingers this season have been way below average so i´m not making a call on 1 or 2 poor games. We really need far more assists or goals from wide positions or we will continue to struggle.

He's defo made them a much better organised team and more difficult to beat. Losing Snodgrass will be a big blow though.
