If it was Andy Hessenthaler that had been given the permanent job and not a United legend (both have zero experience of managing a top club), would you still be backing him?

Precisely. The players are shocking, so in this state is it wise to trust a rookie to sort this out? Before anyone says we failed with top managers as well, it must be noted we appointed both LvG and Mourinho way past their prime. Pochettino or someone similar would have been perfect.
