    I'm confused as to what rashford offers apart from running. It's a travesty this dude is leading the line for Manchester United.
     
    Our left is looking really dodgy, Jones especially is an accident waiting to happen. We are doing enough to be leading but, similarly to the Chelsea game, we've not made the most of being on top and you feel we won't recover from a mistake.
     
    This group of players look absolutely shot.

    Anyone expecting any of this lot to be anything other than total shit next season is delusional.
     
    The worst Premier League team since Derby County in 2007, and Jones still cannot cope with them.

    We are actually making them look quite good.

    Put Rice next to him we’d have a very good base in midfield to build on. Pogba sloppy again.
     
    Jones, Young, Shaw, Matic, Rashford looking poor so far.

    Pretty dull match for United supporters anyway. Scored a goal but look shite otherwise.
     
    Maybe these players should read this thread at half time to remind them that they do in fact have a chance to make top 4 and not get a 25% pay cut, idiots.

    No hate.. he's just shite. Don't think I've ever not wanted to rate a Academy player but he is just so damn overrated.
     
    I honestly think we have reached Moyes level of bad. Our football is just unwatchable.
     
    Jones lost the plot when he went for that stupid tackle which led to a yellow. He was playing well until then.

    Pogba is definitely a luxury player. All talent, little hustle. He's paying the price for being a golden child his whole life.

    Matic: you don't need to take 7 touches on every ball. Just release it son.

    Sanchez only one doing well.
     
    Lot of positives in the half just the final bit of quality missing. Impressed with Sanchez this half. Pogba being himself hitting the post one moment and missing easy passes next. Lindolof has been excellent.

    He’s not even playing at the base is he? Feels like there’s no structure in the team at all. I get that you want forwards to interchange, but surely Matic should be sitting, otherwise he shouldn’t be playing.
     
    Why does Jones still play for us, let alone start games?
     
    No chance of getting that goal difference up today. Even our goal was a bit lucky.
     
    De Gea - Good, vital save. Solid.
    Shaw - Getting forward well but has been defensively poor
    Lindelof - Has been fine, good clearance preventing likely goal.
    Jones - Awful
    Young - Couldn't keep his corner in.
    Matic - Slow, jogging around, not impacting anything
    Pogba - Some decent forward balls, hit the bar, nothing else of note
    McTominay - Very good, best player by far, looking solid.
    Mata - Meh, some wayward passes, came close to 2-0.
    Sanchez - Looked lively first 15 mins, has tailed off and not done anything since that byline cross
    Rashford - Awful, on par with Jones.
     
    If it's between Pogba in midfield or Mata further forward for "player who doesn't defend but creates lots of chances", I'd go Mata. Played more centrally he's brought lovely touches and chances recently.

    Quality missing? We've not had the quality in the first place for it to to missing :lol:

    Our passing when it matters in the final third is shocking, never seen a 'top' team play the pass completely wrong as many times as we have.

    We have some really small chance to finish 4th. It is really small chance but our coach said that we will try. For that we need big win. So what are we doing? Staying back and waiting for counters. Same as was with Chelsea in second half when we needed to score.

    I don't know who to blame anymore.
     
    Hanson looked foolish when made his famous young players not winning anything remark, but he could well have been foreshadowing Rashford. He's obviously talented, but ridiculously immature in his play. His insisting on doing the same freekick routine over and over, the backheels and loopy flicks - it's all the sort of nonsense you see from the star player on the high school team.
