Wins for Spurs, Newcastle and Liverpool today more important than ever that Man United pick up the three points tomorrow regardless of the performance..

We must win, City and Arsenal are nailed on top 4, Liverpool will certainly be back to their best and challenging. Spurs are playing dross but somehow they're getting the results and Newcastle and in incredible form.

    Just win, no matter how.

Lose or draw tomorrow and it's a big setback. Bigger than Villa away considering we had a few players out.

It’s a must win tomorrow even a draw would be a disaster … results haven’t gone our way today

Frustrating we can't go level with Spurs, point behind Newcastle and within 3 of City due to that damn Villa defeat

There was a lovely short period earlier this season where I wasn't worrying about the result of every game, thinking we'd at least got totally piss-poor performances out of our system. How stupid of me... back to worrying if we'll actually turn up or not today. Proper performance and we'll win without too much trouble. Villa-style performance and we'll be out of the game by half time...

I'd love to see Charlie McNeil get a bit of game time although I realise it's almost as likely that I'll come on for DDG in the final three seconds

    DDG
    Malacia Lindelof Martinez Shaw
    Casemiro Eriksen
    Rashford Bruno Garnacho
    Martial

Why would you play Rashford on the right when he is terrible on the right?

Why on earth would anyone think McNeill is anywhere near first team quality? Did he even make the bench in the League Cup?

how would we know without finding out... people were saying same thing about Garnacho a few weeks ago

Have a sneaky feeling he might start Mctominay in the 10 and Bruno off the right.

It’s always the case… I always expect us to lose when our rivals drop points because we can never take advantage. Don’t know why.

What are the options apart from Rashford baring in mind if you say Bruno it means Donny starts
Elanga could play on the right. Not the best solution though. If Bruno plays on the right, have eriksen in AM in front of Casemiro and Fred/mctominay.

He’s had numerous opportunities to put Eriksen in that AM role and has never done so. I’d rather Rashford out there than Elanga to be honest

For some reason some people think we should accommodate Garnacho and shift Rashford to the right, pretty crazy if you ask me.

Please don’t make a meal of it United.

Good point and same would have been said about Rashford prior to his debut. If a chance falls your way and you are a good finisher, age is not really important. He could be a good option off the bench with 10 mins to go.

But you could apply that logic to every single youth player.

McNeill isn't setting the world alight in the U21's never mind first team.

feck that, he’s been shocking for the young team this year, absolutely not.

We need to fully smash them today, 3 points by any means necessary, no excuses whatsoever. With City and Chelsea dropping points this is an absolute must in for momentum heading into the World Cup.

it’s all well and good beating Liverpool, Arsenal etc but if we can’t win these sort of games consistently, it’s not really gonna count for anything.

Having said that, we’re odds on favourites, and I think we will get it done.

Another struggle expected. Can't trust this side under any pressure away from home.

    id almost go 4-4-2

    ————————-defence
    Bruno —-Casemiro—Mctominay—Garnacho
    ————-Rashford————Martial————-

Erikson in if martial isnt fit to start.

The only other solution would be to play a 4-3-3 with eriksen, Fred/mctominay and Casemiro. But I wouldn’t like Bruno as a RW in a 4-3-3, he needs the AM close to him to link up play.

Today’s the day. Our system is going to ‘click’ and we’re going to finish off this part of the season with a convincing win.
