An indifferent performance, but one which I will take because we have been so poor. I disagree that Everton haven't been bad, I think they have been what they are: quite average at best.

But we have been at times spectacular, alongside completely inept. The Penalty killed off the game. Mainoo and Maguire were key for that build-up. Mainoo made us play differently today, was easily our best player. Shaw also a huge, plus, and Maguire cannot be dropped at the moment.

I still have little faith in either Bruno or Rashford, both out of form and questionable levels of focus. But ETH is scared of them, that's obvious.

Newcastle, Galatasary, Chelsea etc will provide far sterner tests. But a welcome win with a few goals! I'm rather stunned, in a good way.

This is a fair assessment.

I know there are sterner tests but just enjoying this lovely victory today. United gives me heart palpitations so happy to have a calmer watch today
