Lucky for for holgate, pretty reckless and high, no intention to get the ball and studs showing.

Wonder how we get so many injuries. Open season on United players.

I'd go as far to say he's been our best number 10 this season. Everyone else has been fluffing their lines and he's just got on with taking his chances.
He has obvious technical limitations but, for the stage we're at now, he's a really useful player. His running and movement makes space for the rest.

What I like about Lingard is the passion and power with which he plays.
He gets the ball and he has one thing on his mind - head towards the opponent's goal.
    No back/side pass time wasting.

You cannot get consistency if you are subbed off I am sorry. Reward his good 2ndhalf with a 90min.

Ach, it's difficult but I agree with you to an extent since they're two of the brightest prospects we have.

He doesn't want to play both; I think this is the best compromise in that they're getting 90 minutes each every two games. We moan when players aren't given consistent playing time, but unless we really mean consistent 90 minutes, then they're being treated as equals, no? Surely that's the best thing to do for now?

McCarthy has committed three yellow card worthy fouls in-between in case someone's counting. cnut of a player.

These fecking cnuts with their dirty challenges.
It's alright professionally fouling someone (shirt pull, shoulder barge, etc.), but that one on Lingard there is ridiculous and another example of the shit City fans have been complaining about for a good month now. A young player in the form of his life could potentially have his career ended there with that sort of tackle - say Lingard gets his ankle trapped under the Everton player there, all of a sudden that's a break or dislocation and 18 months to get back to normal, by which point the ship has sailed. Needs clamping down on big time.

apart from the referee trying to get EFC back into the game - this has been pretty good 2nd half

    Thats a red card !
Dirty challenge, good on pogba for getting mad
Except the referees don't need any excuse to book our players. We need him to calm down.

And due to the genius that is the FA's retrospective system, they're allowed to rightly ban Young but are completely powerless to review that 'tackle' and give it the punishment it warranted.
Something needs to change about this fecked up rule cause that was way worse than what Young did.
    Football is broken

Why aren’t we going for more goals in this last 5 minutes, they are pretty much there for the taking.

Nice. Keeping hold of the ball. Nothing stupid now.

Wow, Mata is doing the full 90.

trouble is the ref saw the tackle and deemed it just a yellow, the FA will just say the ref dealt with it.
It's completely fecking bollocks. They're allowed to use TV replays for incidents that the ref didn't get a good enough view of to deal with on the pitch correctly, yet can't show the ref the replays of that 'tackle' and ask if he'd have sent him off given that view.

The refs are shite and the system designed to back them up is somehow even worse.

    Shaw done well today.
