Possibly but I always think that is a mistake, it invites too much pressure, always better to keep playing yourt natural game and try to get the second.
I have no problems with your opinion regarding this point.
Let's see what will happen, though.

Is it just me or is it quite clearly going to be a 5-4-1?
They are at least used to play on this stage. Are these any good?
No. Blind and Young will be up against their wingbacks and Martial and Mkhitaryan will be further up the pitch. Is it just me or is it quite clearly going to be a 5-4-1?
I utterly despise 5-3-2. It hasn't worked well in a competitive game this season. Fair enough to set up to defend, fancy we'd do it better in our standard shape though. Our players look a little lost on roles in 5-3-2. Easier to play a low block if everyone knows their job well.
Thanks. Will hopefully have too much for them then. They normally are - but this season they have been poor by their standards. 7 Points behind Zenit and they score just above 1 goal pr game. They are too old at the back and perhaps too young up front
Lift your head up from your plate, mate!Looks like a 3.1415926 to me.
IIRC Akinfeev had some homesickness issues so could never really manage to leave Russia. A shame though, used to be really highly rated, but he has made a good enough career for himself after all!Akinfeev still the CSKA goalkeeper.. once upon a time he was linked with United as van der Sar his successor. Supposed to be a good goalkeeper. Dzagoev was also supposed to go to Chelsea and be the next big Russian star.
Besides those two i only recognise Wernblom his name from his AZ period.
me too. will come as subtitute later with Rashford maybe.Surprised Lingard isn't starting this one.
good lineup, hopefully Martial and Lukaku can score many goals today!
Hmm, be interesting to see our back 3 in action, hoping the Russian atmosphere doesn't get to Lindelof mentally and he has an improved showing. Sticking with 1-1, not expecting much excitement either, but I'd take a draw here it's probably the toughest away game in the group.
He gave them few minutes, not more then that.Jose giving no fecks about liverpool.
