This game is crying out for James on the right flank.
He's definitely a striker. Takes time to learn the position especially as a lone striker, but his movement and the way he plays is as a striker. On the wing he doesn't get in any real chances himself, doesn't create chances for others, and never showed any possibility that he will grow and do that regularly. His movement is all wrong for the wing, which is why every time you see him play on the right, any time he gets on the ball, it tends to be moving backwards and playing a square safe pass, or a hopeful cross/long range shot. That's not what you want from him there. You want him in the box so he can take snap shots, use his in box movement to get on the end of chances, or to take a quick turn and shot, etc. Nothing about him looks like a winger and never has. He's a striker, it's just he's 19, so it requires patience. What exactly is he then? He's been even worse up front
Agree. Greenwood is invisible
We’ll park the bus & play for a 0-0 like we do in every big game. I’m so happy we finally have an attacking coach...They are both players of brilliant moments and this team needs game changers, otherwise we wouldn’t create anything. The general play of this team is always sloppy. Fred, Rashford, Bruno, Pogba and Martial all have a habit of unforced errors with passing. If we play like this at the weekend, City will be 3-0 up after 20 minutes.
Carries the load for the rest of the team. Not many like to press bar CavaniBruno does so much unnecessary running
