No overlapping runs down the left without Shaw in the side - probably by instruction since TFM isn't a left back, but it's killing any fluidity we had down that side in previous games.

Just shows that it's easy to shine as a combative midfielder in a team that's not expected to play football. When the expectation is to dominate possession and be on the front foot McTominay's limitations become obvious.
