There should have been some rotation of the squad tonight. There wasn't, but it will certainly happen now. Not an easy side to play against and they have already beaten us at Old Trafford this season.

Failure to win here ends our hopes of top 3 and leaves us clinging on for top 4.

Anything other than a win here would be disastrous. I know Chelsea and Leicester have a tougher run in and may still drop points but we really should/need to be winning these remaining games. The last thing I want is to be battling it out on the final day with Leicester for a CL spot, with the pressure on I wouldn't be to confident of this Utd side to deliver.

Really annoying that we don't have a single player with any sort of flair outside of the first XI. Mata might be the closest thing but he has no business starting this game (or any other PL game for that matter).

Have no idea how to predict a team here. I think OGS messed up by not bringing in fresh players for Southampton, and that was partly why we didn't cope with the press.
Now our best XI is even more knackered and with just 3 days rest.

Dalot can come in for Shaw/Williams. I also think we need fresh legs in midfield and on right wing.

Palace beat United in Old Trafford this season, the are capable of taking points off United again if they play as poorly as tonight.

This game will all depend on how United react/respond to that setback tonight that felt like a defeat. The first sign of tiredness was seen tonight and playing again in 3 days doesn't give much recovery time.

What's the post match word on Williams? He looked like he may have suffered a concussion. Would be more surprised if he was in over Shaw which can probably be massaged out over a few days.

Difficult choices ahead. We looked knackered tonight. I'd be tempted to say give PL priority over FA Cup and put the strongest side out against Palace, but the worst case would be not resting players on Thursday and not getting a result, which looks quite possible on the basis of tonight's performance. I reckon we'll see Fred, McTominay and Ighalo all start. Dalot at left back if Shaw and Williams are out?
