Not sure, he took a heavy knock against the Saints. Hoping he can at least make the bench. I think James will start and will be the only change

I'd rather not risk him if he's only partially fit, but I'd understand if Ole plays him considering it's a must-win game.

They're all must-win from this point, I guess.

How about Mctominay, he's less of a DM than Fred but has been slightly better form since the restart. We should have enough for Palace with either of them playing to be fair.
Not for me he hasn’t. Fred has looked sharp in most of his outings whereas McTominay can’t retain the ball.

After how this season has planned out why would you want a player like James against a team likely to sit back and frustrate? Do we ever learn?
    1) Most importantly, I don’t want a 60 year old, a Brazillian without any Brazillian technique or one of the worst players in the PL at RW. He’s the best of the backups.
    2) He’s young and has had a break. Give him a chance. Games are good for his development too.
    3) As said, I love him.

If Greenwood is out start Ighalo instead.

I wouldn't mind seeing that, Martial left, Ighalo centre and Rash on the right.
I don't think Ole will though, he will go James on right I'd imagine with martial centre and rash on left

    Latest team news:

Palace are without the suspended Christian Benteke, as well as injured defensive trio Martin Kelly, Gary Cahill and James Tomkins. Jeffrey Schlupp is also out.

United will probably be without Luke Shaw, who went off injured on Monday night, while his replacement Brandon Williams then suffered a head injury, but has declared himself fit. Phil Jones and Mason Greenwood are also out.

Well that's that then, we're sunk

Lads, it's Palace. Easy 3-0/3-1 score with Utd not needing to get out of second gear. Wouldn't be surprised if the game is done by the 60th minute and Ole can rotate the important players out to save legs.

Palace have been absolutely dire since the restart. Absolutely nothing to worry about in this one.

apart from the fact they love a good game raise against us

I think it’s madness wanting to move Martial to the left just to get in Ighalo. Martial is the most inform striker in the league, no chance he’s not staying up top and rightly so!

apart from the fact they love a good game raise against us
From what I’ve seen that’s not true though. They game raise against Liverpool but have only ever beaten us once and that was this season. I think we will cruise this one.

I have never understood how a player can declare themselves fit. I would have thought the decision should be made by a medical doctor, with interest only in the players health.

    a flexible 4-4-2
    No Greenwood..

    ------------------de Gea
    AWB--Lindelof---Maguire--Dalot
    -------McTom------Fred
    -----------------------------Pogba
    Bruno------------------------------Rashford
    --------------Martial
For me it has to be the one ..looking like hybrid 4-4-2/4-2-1-1-1 if you will...no diamond

    4) He's just not very good at this level.

And No2 is just ridiculous, we're trying to get in the CL places here, it's not the 1st round of the League Cup!

Players can say whether they feel any pain or not?

Nervous for this one with the games running out now. C’mon United, let’s get at them and keep that momentum.

Playing him in these games will do him better than in the league cup first round. Besides, he’s better than Mata, Lingard and Pereira.

Lets not make the Southampton result at home be the defining moment of our PL campaign.

Sorry mate, I can’t let that one go.
Maybe you’re on the WUM but we have a teenage superstar on the scoring rampage lately and you’d drop him against Crystal Palace because his inferior replacement would do a better defensive job?
You’re either having a laugh or you’ve been at the gargle since early this morning.

No, I'm being serious. He wasn't great defensively last game and AWB was targeted. I think Greenwood is fantastic but I think for this game I'd start James.

Lets not make the Southampton result at home be the defining moment of our PL campaign.
That’s nonsense. Was Burnley not a poor performance? Draws at home to Villa, Wolves.
At the end of the day it’s over 38 games. We earn it or we don’t

If we play James here I’ll cry. He’s absolutely woeful.

It's amazing what a draw can do. Prior to the Soton game, I was confident that we could turn anyone over. Now, I'm bricking it against a team in Palace who have lost their last five games.

Don't care how we play tonight, the main thing is that we get a win. An early goal would do a whole lot of good to settle any potential nerves.

I wouldn’t risk Greenwood either. We shouldnt have to be a 19 year old who isn’t fully fit to beat Crystal Fecking Palace

Yeah, but people/fans will naturally look at the recent Sotton result as that moment, especially if we win all our game left as that result will still be fresh in the mind.
