I'm struggling to see where the money has gone with regards to Sanchez and Pogba. Lingard and McTominay look just as good.
Too much excessive negativity in this place!
Can someone fill me in on what's so special about McTominay?
He's not awful by any means, certainly not the source of our problems tonight. But he's such an average, forgettable player. I seriously don't see what he offers to our midfield. He's young and he's English, that's about it, really.
More practice has gone into the players' pre-game handshake routines than anything football related. What a farce this has been.
Sure neither of them can beat a man or put in a cross.I dont understand why we're not going wide more often, the middle is so congested that its too difficult to weave through. How many times were Young and Valencia completely unmarked in wide areas?
Our midfield started terribly, all three have lost the ball in the middle creating more pressure on the defense. Dreadful first half, hopefully things change in the second.
Are you honestly surprised. We even made West Brom look decentWe are losing to a relegation candidate with an injury ravaged squad.
He’s Scottish
Ohh, they are taking being petty to another level. He dived against them once years ago.
Never enjoy watching us away from home. Either we score in the first half in which we defend for the rest of the game or they score, in which we struggle to score ourselves.
Pogba having an absolute mare as well.
If they are, they need a career adviser not a new manager.Does it look like they’re giving it everything out there? Not for me.
When manager grows a pair and asks them to press from the front rather then maybe we’ll start seeing a difference, we’re giving an undeserved respect to Palace by dropping back deep everytime they have a ball.Appalling performance. These players better step up in the 2nd half.
Do we have somebody like that?

Shocking. Ranks up there as the worst performance I've seen from a united team since Fergie left
True, but what is McTominay's role if Matic is the player to play deep ? He rarely play's a ball forward and get's away with poor perfomances more because we are terrified to be critical on younger players, as far as I am concerned if you are on that pitch you have an equal amount of responbility.
No matter how many times you polish a turd, it won't turn into a diamond. Passing the ball to Young and Valencia is useless anyway. Especially Young and his absolute zero ability at crossing half well.I dont understand why we're not going wide more often, the middle is so congested that its too difficult to weave through. He really does. Still in the honeymoon period, I suppose. 500k per week and he hasn't produced anything of note yet.

yeah I didn't mean today, but in general, his attitude is shockingHe's been like this for months.
I don’t really rate McTominay, but I think he’s there to just do a job. Keep it tidy, don’t make mistakes, offer a bit of help to Matic in defence or Pogba going forward.
However Pogba’s role is supposed to be to change games by playing that killer pass or taking on his man. He’s categorically failed at that today.
I'll take a draw, its' 1 point gained on Chelsea and 4th is the best we can get with this atrocious away form.
They would be grinning from ear to ear and hugs all round. The sad thing is I don’t think they’d be bothered.
