Completely disagree. Defenders who are quick to step in often end up seeing the number on the back of the forwards shirt. Smalling made his man pass the ball off. Job done. Not his fault that the other players didn't pick up a man wide open at the top of the 18. It's not like Benteke made some amazing pass. Townsend should have been picked up by one of Lindelof, Pogba or most likely, Young as Tonwsend is his man...
