    Would also be dissapointed to see Lingard ahead of Martial. Our attack is so much better when Martial is in form...worth the risk

    I doubt it mate. Jose is Jose. He is what he is.
    And quite honestly, I don't want him to change. I want the same guy who won trophies at all his previous clubs.
    As we saw last week against LFC, he is doing what he does best - adapting to the opponent and not going gung-ho.

    I expect him to aim to hammer the lesser clubs (we have seen some 3 and 4 goal scorelines already this season), but against big clubs, he will accept a draw.
    Jose is no fool.
     
    I'm of the general consensus that our line-up will be de Gea, Valencia, Bailly, Smalling, Blind; Herrera, Fellaini, Pogba; Lingard, Rashford, Zlatan. I just hope Pogba plays more of an #8 in a midfield 3 than a #10 in front of a midfield 2.

    Though, personally, I'd like to see Martial and Mata be given starts. Martial because I just love watching him play and plus he adds a whole new dimension to our attack compared to our other attackers, and Mata because I think he deserves it after being one of our best outfield players so far this season. In Martial's case, he should definetly start over Rashford on the wings, though I'd love for Rashford to play up front, with Martial and one of Lingard/Mata behind. I'd prefer all three to be honest, but that may be a bit too risky at Stamford Bridge.

    Did most times under Ferguson but until we look strong enough to actually go on a long run I'm not going to.
    We are too unstable and our away record is not good.

    He played well during the week but was average versus Stoke and Shite versus City. Not sure he deserves to be starting before anyone mentioned.

    Judging on the last few years, Young has a reasonable chance of playing ok today, but is almost guaranteed to be anonymous for the next 3 games, until he gets dropped.

    Hopefully Mourinho has spotted this trend and will just leave him out for a month, until he's due his next decent 45.

    I hear ya.
    Been thinking like this for a few years now. But when we actually see over time evidence of performances and results improving, that will change again.

    That is harsh, he is not our greatest player but under LVG he was decent and under Fergie he was decent. Lingard for me is Cleverly level on what I have seen although I hope I am proven wrong. Anyway drop both them and start any 2 from Martial, Mata, Mkytarin or Rashford.

    Young over Lingard is a decent call. Definitely should be Martial on one wing and one of those 2 on the other and leave Rashford to be an impact player for this

    Yes Also every team on the planet had a bad or not so great record at Stamford bridge due to that ridiculous record Jose created during his reign there.

    So now it's a different regime with completely different players and coach were playing against so none of the previous factors count. Everything has reset.

    It's strange though that even before Jose's reign there it was never one of our happy hunting grounds.
     
    Absolutely shitting this one. Hazard and Co will be gunning for revenge. Would take a draw.

    United: De Gea, Valencia, Smalling, Bailly, Blind, Fellaini, Herrera, Rashford, Pogba, Lingard, Ibrahimovic. Subs: Romero, Darmian, Rojo, Carrick, Mata, Young, Martial.
     
    Hope Smalling is really ok and doesn't have to leave soon.

    For feck sake i dont want to see Rashford run the ball out of play 10 times a game. He needs to play as a striker.
     
    No Young. Happy enough with that team.

    Would have liked to see Martial though.
