If only we still had evra, we wouldn't have to countenance this shite from young every week.
And Evra wouldve been quite good in this setup as a wingback

Januzaj on for Young please. No pace, no urgency, devoid of any ideas when we have the ball.

wtf the feck is wrong with these commentators? How is that not a pen

That not a shoulder to shoulder, its a blatant push

Lets get Shaw, Rafael, Herrera, Rojo, Smalling, Januzaj and Blind into the lineup. Please. Soon.

We are fecking crap, unbelievably shit. Only DDG and Di Maria have been, the rest should be ashamed of themselves. It's a fecking joke really. Garbage football

Thats the best we've played all season imo.

Replace Fletcher with a player that actually shows for the ball and can recycle it to our attacking players and this squad is nearly there (except Valencia and Young who are shite, but we know that).

    The system just isn't working

Time to drop either Mata or RVP and go 4-4-1-1 with Di Maria wide left and Januzaj wide right

Mata should be on the bench, not impressed at all since joining us though people will always find a way to defend him for some reason.

Like I said last week. Fletcher, Jones, Evans out please. And get Mexes and someone else in.

Hmmm. So Valencia and Young, despite their sparkling form, aren't playing well. Would never have seen that coming.

I think Matas getting unfair hate

The service to him is poor but the same can be said for Di Maria who has looked much better in mostly the same position. Mata has been poor

Fletcher is shocking. He is man marking ings even when we have the ball. He never ever ever shows for a pass and that cause the long balls
Yeah, he's not good enough at all. Honestly think Cleverley and Fellaini both have more to offer.

I just can believe young and mata are so shit on taking set pieces we should stop giving them setpieces they suck this has been like 8 - 10 games where mata and young are shit taking corners and long freekicks they always hand it to the opposition keeper

Something has to give in the link between CM and defense.

Long balls all game. Disgusting. No way Louie trains them to do that. Bunch of bed wetters.

RvP has been disappointing. Last attack he had Mata running his arse down the right side and he tries a clever pass to Rooney resulting us in losing the ball.

We've been okay, Young and Fletcher really stand out as beyond shit, hoping Rojo, Shaw and Blind will fix this team

Trying to shoehorn both RvP and Rooney into this team feels a bit like the old England issue of trying to play both Lampard and Gerrard.

Sometimes your best players doesn't make the best team.

    My half time summary:

    • What fear factor? I for one would want to play a team with Ashley Young in it
    • We don't have to worry about when van Persie will retire. By the looks of it, he already has. He doesn't give a flying feck about this match.
    • Blackett not ready to play a consecutive string of full matches.
    • Imagine if our goalkeeper wasn't world class.
    • Fletcher should be paying to wear a United shirt, not get paid for it.
    • Didn't we have some Rooney chap in our team?
    • Any team that finished in top 4 last year can win against us with double digits if they want to.
    • If I ignored the name Manchester United and had to look at this team and predict where they'd finish, I'd say 12th.
    • On the plus side, if a Premier League team absolutely wants to look bad even with world class players, they now know they can achieve that effect by playing 3-5-2.
    • Burnley are dire. Any non-relegation side would walk past our defence. Poor Burnley, they're going down.
    • Or we may go down in their stead, I wouldn't say the chances of that are below 5%.
    • Fantastic Di Maria so far. Hardly set a foot wrong.
    • Valencia is trying.
    • Mata can, he just needs service. And he's not getting it. Refer to the Fletcher thing.
    • No way in hell we're winning this.
    • Unless we switch to 4-3-3.
How many days ago did you write that?

What a dissapointing half.. We're not winning any second balls, even headers from our defenders.. Mata and Di Maria want to get forward early, and are leaving gaps behind them

I don't think the team has been great but Christ, some of you lot are ridiculous. Overall I think we've been poor but we look like we're starting to grow into a team, Di Maria and Mata's link up has been good and we look like we're going to score when we take it forward more often.

We're playing much better, hoofballs aside we're not zombie passing

    Half-Time
    - Rooney & RVP partnership doesn't work
    - We should drop one of them to play just one striker
    - Mata has been shit
    - Fletcher is done
    - Defenders don't know how to play 3 at back
    - Di Maria  (imagine him on wing )
    - De Gea is saving us

    Change the formation please.

Di Maria the only one with pace and looking to pass forward. Mata not doing much. The long-ball tactic from the defenders is dreadful.

Evans and Fletcher abysmal. Mata poor. RvP unlucky. Young and Valnecia totally short of confidence and no wingbacks.

Rooney and RvP not working, just drop one and play two proper midfielders in midfield!!!

Mata gets all the stick on here, pretty hard for any number 10 to do well in a team full of static players.

Evans and Fletcher are shit blackett needs to stop hoofing. How can our players be so pathetic that they are not even getting basics like passing the ball right. I mean Mata, young and Fletcher have all tripped over the ball under no fecking pressure at all.

What the feck is the point in this formation if all Evans, Blackett, and Jones do is hoof it long.

Nothing will change until that stops. fecking hell. We've spent 60m on a rolls Royce in the middle and were playing long ball.

    Jesus fecking wept.

This formation is not working. We have 3 players in midfield yet still seem intent on hoofing the ball forward half of the time.

Like lvg already said, the first phase has to improve because this is horrible. There is no build up. We desperately need a ball playing defender.

We need to dump the 352 and go 4231/433. Our CM arent showing for the ball at all from the back.

You know i have no doubt that Van Gaals 'philosophy' will kick in at some point, we will have a game where suddenly the football starts flowing and we don't look back. The problem though is that we have so much absolute shite in our squad, so many players stealing a living, that the season will be over long before we click into gear.

We are awful. 3 very average defenders. Two wing back backs who cannot attack or defend. Fletcher is awful. Mata wants 20 yards except nobody told him he plays in the PL. Rooney and RVP look tired and lost. Only Di Maria looks good and I am sure he must be second guessing his move to us. Sad days.
