He's done well, provided a couple of passes that could have been turned into goals (Van Persie & Mata). It's not the formation, it's basic footballing ability.We are so rigid, what happened to the fluidity we all expected? We need to switch formation for the next half and take Fletcher off.So far it still seems as if Rooney and RVP are incapable of creating a world class striker partnership anywhere near their actual individual levels.
They are simply cryptonite to each other as a pairing and they go from world class playing alone, to being mid table class when paired together.
I don't think we'd be worse off with Welbeck and Januzaj up front, in fact I think we'd look a lot better.

He's possibly slower than Fletcher and we seriously lack pace.long ball after long ball after long ball from our defenders.Cleverley is better than Fletcher.There is literally no desire in these players.
