Louis van Gaal.... here is my bank account.. please send me money for my destroyed mouse and laptop display :(

we play 352 so that Mata and RVP can both play.. and they are our worst players at the moment..

Is anyone surprised? We attack with 3 players at most, our cm's and 'wingers' don't move. I've been saying this for the past few weeks, nothing will change whilst we use 3-5-2 and rely on attacking through the middle. Using Di Maria as a CM is a mistake, nothing happens out wide so having Xavi & Iniesta would do us no good.

He was better than all our players bar Phil Jones and AdM, to be honest.

Even if that was true, which it isnt because even Young had more success down his side than Valencia did, then that would put him as 3rd and not man of the match

Valencia's a fcking joke! All he do is smash the ball in hard provided there are no defenders near otherwise he just thumps it into their shins.

Still rubbish. The clean sheet was nice for the young defenders but really disappointed that we looked clueless going forwards despite the late barrage. At least we got a point as apposed to a loss like last ti,e we played Burnley at Turf Moor.

I wonder who is coming back after international break. Surely Shaw, Herrera and Blind will be an improvement on what we are playing now.

Everyone is criticising Valencia. But it was only him who created anything.
In what world did Valencia create anything? You don't win anything in football for most crosses into defenders.

Please God change the formation. A formation that allows shite defenders to hoof the ball and dogshit wingers to piss around. We need to change it and put Di Maria on the wing, Valencia and Young and diabolical.

Plus, I've never seen a team so shit on corners.

3-5-2 isn't working, and I don't think it will work. It won't change either in all likeliness knowing how stubborn Van Gaal is. The only way he'll consider it is once players start asking for something different.

We didn't get to the byline, it was a joke, we are playing BURNLEY!! We should be smashing them! I could understand if they was Parking the bus but they wasn't!

LVG may be an individual with a large personality and a surfeit of confidence but he sure as shit hasn't managed to transmit these qualities to the team - any of them. I had such high hopes too!

Its 3 games , give him 3 years . That is how long it will take it to replace the mess that is Man Utd . I wonder whose idea it was to make Rooney captain , somebody in the marketing dept no doubt

Awful, not sure how LvG expects 352 to work when the most important bit of the formation(wing backs) are absolutely shit!

Valencia at right wing back is a disaster, a wing back needs to be able to meet his man in a one on one situation and we know Valencia can't do that.

You could not be more right

This 3-5-2 won't work with Valencia and Young, they're both shit and cowards.

Our star names ( Mata-Rooney-Van Persi) have been so poor, the ones who should have lifted the team, they are lost and awful.

we play 352 so that Mata and RVP can both play.. and they are our worst players at the moment..

May not be our worst (Evans would probably get that title), but close enough.

Until LvG decides to drop one of RVP, Rooney and Mata, I fail to see how things can "click" for us.
Yes Mata etc. is too good to be excluded in the starting line-up, but that does not mean we should have 11 Mata's playing on the pitch. Keeping a world class player on the pitch for the sake of it only does well in the world of FIFA video game.

my point is that this burnley team will struggle to pick up 30 points this year. They are garbage. If the team we put out today can't beat a team that will finish bottom we have got more problems than a few players coming back from injury.

A few? It's half our team and pretty much the entire center of the pitch where we are getting dominated. It changes everything.

A wing back that can beat his man 1 v 1 and cross the ball would make a hell of a difference

Hopefully with Blind coming in and carrick and herrera coming back we can change to a 4-3-3 and the likes of Valencia, Young, Anderson etc can feck off for good!

    RVP 24million
    Rooney 28million
    Mata 37million
    DiMaria 60million
    4 players 149million
0 goals, 3 shots, against Burnley

Please play 433 it will change our whole play completely, januzaj and dm7 on the wings with ONE of RVP and rooney

You can blame Valencia all you want but Mata and Rooney should of stayed home, way too slow for our "intended" play

    wow that was frustrating.

i see lots of people having a go at blackett for the long balls but i really can't see what option he had?
when our defense have the ball (which feels like all the time because our wingbacks and fletcher don't pass forwards), there is nobody coming to them as the option. there is no one looking for space, making themselves available or looking like they want the ball.

how many times do you see a defender spend 2,3 or even 4 seconds looking for a pass before either:

    a) pumping it long
    or
    b) making a mistake under pressure.

if blind is coming in to sit deep as the 'third quarterback" like he did last year at ajax then he can't get here soon enough.

Having 3 at the back doesn't work, just means there is 1 extra tool to piss around and make sure the forwards see none of the ball.
