Where the hell is Amad? We have no luck - the last few weeks could have been just the opportunity he needed for a run of games.

    It will be -

    onana
    Dalot
    Lindelof
    Martinez
    Reguillon
    Casemiro
    Eriksen
    Rashford
    Hojlund
    Pellistri

I would personally have McT in for Eriksen - sweetly out of lack of an alternative…

I would also play Martial left, Rashford right. After mid week Rashford needs his ass kicked though so if I had any other option I’d bench him.

We'll start well and miss a good chance. Burnley will score from their first shot on goal. Burnley will score another just after half time. United will get one back only for Burnley to score a third on the break. Then our lads will fail to create any more chances as the game fizzles out.

Basically the template for the last 9 seasons when things aren't going well.
Throw in a red card for most likely Casemiro and you’re spot on. Maybe worth a small bet.

Really hope he just drops the bad apples no matter who they are and plays the ones who are motivated enough.

    ———————Hojilund——————
    Garnacho——Bruno——Pellistri
    —————Mejbri——Case————
    Reguilon—Martinez—Varane—Dalot
    ————————Onana————-———

We might lose but at least these players would play like they give a feck.

Lot of pressure on this one. They haven’t looked good at all and we need a solid win to quell the negativity, probably be 0-0.

Excited for the match today. Any word if anyone who was injured is back?

A must win or else we are well and truly in free fall.

Hoping Hojlund starts again, which he should do but there's a small part of me that thinks he might go with Martial since Hojlund is being eased in due to his injury.

He just had his surgery. Doubt if he he available for another 2 months.

Hannibal over McT. Think he offers more on the ball woth a box2box energy

We have to win here, we've had some difficult games but there's nowhere to hide if we drop points here.

    Yes, an absolute must win.

The media have sharpened, loaded and prepared the noose for ETH if United draw or lose.

TBH if they can't beat Burnley then its a sad state of affairs.

Fingers and toes crossed we score early and settle.

If we win here it won’t even be the worst start to the season. We’ve lost games you’d expect us to and we did last season. This is where we are.

The problem is if we win you can guarantee it’d be a 1-0 scrap. The games we have won this season have also been terrible which has been a major contributor to the negativity. We really could do with a convincing win to make people feel like we could be decent, which I don’t think has actually happened away from home under ETH.

If we lose or even draw it’s a real sign that we are in free fall and it could be another huge bust of a season.

Apologies for putting so much emphasis on one game but this really is a defining one. I recall after a nightmare start under Ole a few of years ago we went and spanked Newcastle and ended up doing well in the league. If we’d have lost that game the 2021 shit show may have come a season early.

I really hope we've done some training on stopping or cutting out the the bloody cut back. Feel like we've conceded the same goal in our last three games

Anyone know if any of the injured players are fit to return?

    Amrabat / Mount / Varane?

Ten Hag wasn't giving much away yesterday other than that they were training and we'll wait and see.

Let's see if he's right again. Seems sus but gets the benefit of the doubt for calling AWB injury first.

If we have to witness Maguire and Lindelof I think I will lose it. And we’ll lose the game.

Something else that crossed my mind. When it is said people are laughing at Manchester United, does it even go through the players mind it is them being laughed at, or do they presume it is the manager causing the laugh and giggles?

Seriously you need to give your head a wobble posting an account like that. Verane

Rumors of Hannibal starting and possibly Lindelof Evans midfield and late check if Amrabat, Varane, mount can be in the squad? Yeah I'm gonna shift my "start the good run" by a week if so...
